  1. I enjoy the work. It's interesting and I'm good at it.

  2. Ted Lasso. Not stupid but not complicated. Plus it makes you feel good.

  3. Feel good- off the top is Michael Franti, Dangermuffin, Phish, Goose, Vulfpeck…I’m obviously a hippie, but they make me feel good.

  4. It was rumored that Cameron also requested what the stars would like back then too so he would be able to capture exactly what the night sky would like and where all the stars should be on that specific night.

  5. If he did they got it wrong. Neil Degrasse Tyson watched the movie and announced they had the stars out of position. I believe Cameron did go back and fix it for subsequent releases.

  6. I wanted to see Ted Lasso from the start, the program looked like it hit every beat of what would make it an excellent tv show (and it does) but I don't want to give Apple a single penny as I dislike the company massively. However recently Playstation gave away a 3 month trial.

  7. I tell the people who don't want to give Apple money that they can get the first week free and that's enough time to binge the entire series.

  8. My wife and I are 60 and both had to work through covid 2020-2021. She works at a hospital and I do service work in schools, hospitals, Dr offices, etc. Neither of us have had it or have been sick. Our adult daughter and her 4 kids moved in with us during 2020-2022. They've all had it while living in our house but we still didn't get it. Feels like I'm living on borrowed time.

  9. Dead Kangaroo on the side of the Interstate in Florida. It was about 2am and a long stretch between exits so I didn't go back to check.

  10. Just recently started this one. Reading alongside The Penguin History of the World : 6th Edition

  11. Roberts? This is up next in my queue. What do you think of it?

  12. That's the one. I'm a little over half way through. I think it's very thorough in worldwide coverage. It's not an easy read but it's not overly complicated either. I've tried to read others that seemed to be trying to use every word they know and complicate the sentence structure so much that it made the thought hard to follow for my less educated self.

  13. Vampire Apocalypse. World taken over by mindless vampires with small unconnected pockets of humanity in walled cities protected by floodlights at night.

  14. yeah and kendrick johnson died in an “accident” 🙄

  15. That's the conclusion of every single investigation into the case. Not only government investigations but also the NAACP, the SCLC.

  16. Am I getting downvoted because I'm wrong or you just don't like that I'm right?

  17. Except that the organs were removed during autopsy and the funeral home has already stated that the organs were decomposing and were disposed of while preparing the body for the funeral. He had been dead for several hours before he was initially found and no organs would have been suitable for transplant even at the moment he was found.

  18. If you like blues, check out Samantha Fish.

  19. You see how that's worse right? That the piece of paper that defines your career options is put behind a price wall for no real reason other than because we can

  20. In this case if there are no paying students there would be no class for people to audit. Paying students are having their work checked, interacting with the professors for help, and getting tests graded.

  21. Pat Conroy (Water is Wide or Beach Music would be my choices) for South Carolina. Unless it's Prince of Tides then New York and South Carolina.

  22. I eat vegan dishes all the time. Ratatouille, salads with a vinegar/olive oil dressing, steamed vegetables. stir fry vegetables and rice.

  23. You’re probably referring to the writings of Tacitus since he was the first credible historian to mention Jesus and his execution. By no means there’s an academic consensus on how accurate his account is, extremely misleading to suggest that.

  24. There's also Pliny the Younger and Josephus who were prominent first century historians. While they weren't personal witnesses, we do use their writings as verification for many other historical events. Not to say Jesus was the son of God, but it's pretty well accepted that he did exist.

  25. For me it's the idea that if you say their name in a room of say 20 people at least 6 or 7 will know who you're talking about. They have a certain amount of name recognition. I would bet most people reading this comment know who William Fichtner is but they don't know his name. You could say you had lunch with him to a group of your friends and they'd probably think he was a friend of yours they haven't met yet.

  26. I'm so sorry to creep on you like this haha but I did a search and your post came up. Do you have any leads on how I can find the audiobook for Beach Music by Pat Conroy read by Frank Muller? I'm trying to help a friend find this specific reading on cassette or CD for a special gift for her father. It has sentimental value.

  27. As far as I know it's not available anywhere anymore. Just gave it a look and it appears they've got someone else doing the narration now.

  28. No One Lives is exactly what you're looking for.

  29. I was lying on the floor watching tv while my roommate was in the shower getting ready to go out. His sister walks in wearing a short skirt. As she's asking what I was watching she stands over me with one foot on either side of my head. No panties. It may have been a hint.

  30. When my wife and I bought the house we're in now, we still owned the house we were moving out of. We couldn't keep both as we needed the money from the sale of the first home to replace the money we used for the new purchase.
