  1. I was suspended for 2 weeks recently, my first suspension in any game ever. When I contested it by stating that I thought it was the result of false reports (a ton of rude players the week Venture was trialed) I was met with a canned message that didn’t answer anything I said/asked about.

  2. Godskin Peeler. The Black Flame spells caught my attention, but finding the godskin Apostle in Caelid blew my mind. I thought they were the coolest thing ever and immediately changed my build to be dex/faith

  3. I used them a lot in college, it was useful to quickly test/try things out when I wasn’t at a computer.

  4. Doesn't the creature basically have to be Fervent Champion due to the tap part of the activation cost?

  5. Not necessarily, it’s definitely the best one but you can also do it with Fighter Class and either Fireblade Charger (1 to cast and 1 to equip) or Kemba (2 to cast auto equip)

  6. Yeah Kemba is a lot weaker, he needs a haste enabler + fighter class or [[Astor, Bearer of Blades]] (ty hammer discord). I’ve made some changes to the list, so I’ll reference some of those cards.

  7. Hi, zombies was my first Pioneer deck! Unfortunately zombies isn’t a very strong deck. It’s not terrible or anything, you can definitely get wins but it won’t be super strong. Personally I like zombies just for the nostalgia, and there are a few different ways to build them which is nice. They are basically a grindy Aggro deck that builds up for a big swing.

  8. Interesting, I’ve been testing a similar naya deck while waiting for OTJ. Mine hinges the power/explosiveness on [[Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds]] to copy a ton of tokens, instead of the Fleatfoot Dancer, and I don’t play as many planeswalkers.

  9. Fun fact you can use a bewitching branch for that imp puzzle

  10. You can also use the Crystal Darts on any of the statue enemies for the same effect

  11. The good news is, that any ban the COULD make won’t be very expensive to replace

  12. [[Skrelv’s Hive]], [[Wedding Announcement]], [[Esika’s Chariot]] are probably going to be the best token generators. However, I’ve built a dedicated tokens deck and I can safely say you have to choose tokens or “everything typal”. If you are dedicated to dumping out a ton of creatures, you lose out on support for the everything matters theme.

  13. I’m cooking up a naya deck with [Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds]]. Elves to ramp into 3-drops like fable or [[Skyclave Apparition]], then dumping out tokens when I can. Testing a non Ghired online has gone pretty well, so I’m excited or it

  14. [[Mask of Immolation]] is an equipment finisher if you have tutors like [[Open the Armory]] or [[Kellen, the Fae-Blooded]]

  15. Because the "Except is has Haste" is part of the copy effect on Reflection, yes, a copy of the token will also have Haste. However, with Rootwire, it creates the token, then separately gives it Haste, and therefore the Haste is not part of the copyable values. If Rootwire said to 'create an X/X colorless Golem Artifact Creature with Haste, where X is 3 times Rootwire Amalgam's Power', then the Haste would be copyable, as it was part of the creation of the token.

  16. Part of the setup is having a damage spell in hand and if you want to benefit from the draw ability your opponent needs to be playing a creature deck and have creatures on the board. I don't feel like this goes in a straight up burn deck where everything goes face.

  17. I’m not really saying it’s good, just that I disagree that having direct creature damage in hand is much of a requirement.

  18. If part of your plan as a burn deck is to kill creatures you're playing burn wrong

  19. Sure, just downvote and read the only part I put no thought into as a throwaway line

  20. It’s good at a lot of points in the game, plus insta wipe? Crazy
