I don’t know how you could make ddlc into an anime. Yeah you can do the visual novel stuff from the first act, but how the heck are you gonna do the fourth wall meta horror? You can’t really delete character files in an anime and the bits where the game does little stuff to the files is how the game got so popular in the first place.

The OG “All Quiet on the Western Front” has historical significance in that it was an Anti war movie that was made by veterans of the war they where portraying, which stands in contrast to all of the propaganda movies that surrounded its release. To remake that movie is to ignore its historical relevance. That’s why it ain’t getting any Oscars.
