  1. I would try new microSD cards, possibly something is up with them.

  2. Bought a new high performance sd for quick rewrite and playback and the problem persists.

  3. I'm not sure what the issue would be. Have you checked the website to make sure their firmware are up to date?

  4. Send the 3 down a good 1' then put a 4th. So when someone buzzes the 4th a little too deep they can get REALLY confused.

  5. My crew found this pin almost a foot off where I computed the corner. So I called this surveyor and asked for a copy of his plat. It seemed the professional thing to do. After all, maybe he had different information. He told me to send him $250 for a copy or I could piss right off. That went well.

  6. People I tell you! $250, because he needs the money to cover up his mistakes haha

  7. I don't use swann but I also have some advice... You can download pushover and get rich notifications for a 1 time fee of $5. I use it, because rich notifications through reolink for the doorbell are way too expensive IMO. And not only that, the rich notifications are only available in some countries. Pushover doesn't work with the Duo2, unfortunately. And not always does it work with the Duo3.

  8. Yeah, it doesn't. OP is going to scare the crap out of their UPS guy lol.

  9. Guess who won't be ringing the doorbell for deliveries after the 1st time! Lol

  10. I'm not sure what you mean, do you record 24/7 to micro SD or?

  11. Do you have the battery camera added via UID or via IP? If you can add via IP it may work through the VPN.

  12. If you are comfortable with a Duo style camera you can disable the LED lights. However the Duo is a big camera, maybe the Duo3V will be of interest if they ever release it soon.

  13. Obviously it's going to be that "bus" they showed, but actually it will be real.

  14. Uhm, and how would that possibly change how the camera reacts to DHCP offers?

  15. I would try resetting it. It's both the same on live and recorded? Usually this type of video error is caused by poor signal.

  16. Uhhh I'm voting for this is a bad idea. Weather, dust, dirt, spiders...

  17. Aston... Because I bought it and I don't want to buy more. Too many people use the Merc or Porsche, I can't become one of them! (I own the Porsche too because it was 1st...)

  18. Yes, because the client is seeing both the NVR and the standalone camera. This is how it is intended to happen. If you are seeing doubles on the live view you can right click on it and press "close" or drag it off screen.

  19. If there is no power, you need a battery camera. However they will not work through glass. You'd need to mount the camera outside.

  20. No, if you want battery back you need a UPS. Battery backups aren't that expensive for what they offer. Hiring someone to run wire really varies in cost, since every region has a different pay scale.

  21. Yes, you can record to the MicroSD continuously and it will work the same as the doorbell. Most people are not building a custom NVR, it is more cost and is not as easy as just using the Reolink NVR. PoE is better, and more reliable. You'll need to buy a PoE switch, to power a POE camera if you don't have a NVR, but they really don't cost that much.

  22. I would highly doubt a price drop will happen for the CX-410.

  23. I can't really help with the question, but I can set my alarm off and hear it from houses away.

  24. Can you FFS just put back all the settings in the app? It is nerve-racking that I need to fire up the stupid pc with your app to be able to change settings hidden in the mobile app... Would be great thx.

  25. The splitter will still use 2 ports on a switch, or the NVR. Are you using 2 splitters per camera run? Ie one other either end.

  26. In that image I had brightness at max otherwise all you would see was a black image with the street lamps shinning through. I’ll try to reset but one think I’ve noticed is that it got dark as if it was losing its natural brightness over the course of 1h and the IR lights were not popping off regardless of the setting I would put them into

  27. Im also going to try to plug in a different camera, something might be off with the cable or even that specific port on the camera. From what I can tell it either fried the sensor or somethings wrong with the cable run. Do you know if they turn on IR based on a light sensor or more like image processing?

  28. I believe it turns on/off based off of the light sensors, I've put my finger over them and the camera goes into IR right away.. It would be good to try a different wire and a different camera for sure

  29. Is the save path for videos to a similar location as the rest?

  30. Does the camera have AI? If so turn off "motion" modifications and only keep on AI events.
