  1. There is theory that the conservation officer (that RA gave statement too) was killed in a downing at a lake when he was saving another man’s life. You can look up articles. He was a conservation officer in county next to Delphi. It would explain why officer didn’t come forward and say more

  2. No I don’t believe so. Sgt. Bollman lived in Anderson, IN (north east of Indianapolis) which is about an hour and 40 minutes from Delphi. I don’t think Madison County would have sent for him to be apart of evidence collection that far away. Just my opinion.

  3. Thats what i was thinking. Way out of his jurisdiction. This is a year and a half after. Anyway, the CO should have given the interview notes to the investigating team immediately.

  4. I thought his wife just worked at the veterinarian. She's not a vet.

  5. Speaking of gun, is it off kilter to assume the girls were not shot and killed, because if they were, they would have matched spent bullets to his gun and not unspent?

  6. Exactly, If the girls were shot, he couldnt conceal the bullets wherever they landed. And matching spent bullets back to the rifling marks is a much more proven and distinguishable science.

  7. RA admitted to having the gun on him the day he went to the trails/bridge.

  8. Wonder if he got there early and parked to watch them go by where he was parked. I think RA new the trail really good like where to hide and how to get in and out with out being seen. He had a phone with him he could of had somebody tailing them to the trails or somebody telling him when they got to the trails or who knows. I wonder what kinda phone he had and if it pinged why he was there and if there was somebody else with him and they had a phone too.

  9. They mentioned whose phone REIM number in the PCA. The Conservation officer at least go that.

  10. Could someone please tell us again how far RA lived from the park itself/ Monon Bridge?

  11. RA lived about a 1.25 mile drive from the park. But as crow flies, he could have hiked there through the wooded creek area to the bridge. He's less then a mile via hike.

  12. One other piece of information relating to a connection would be TK's and KK's behavior after the crime. Specifically, the lie they told the police about being in Vegas during the day of the murders. But were later proved to be Indiana. Keegan actually took steps to his Facebook to make it look like they were in Vegas on that day. They went to Vegas after the crime. Can we explain why they lied about this. Even add the part about the phone that LE didn't find in the raid of KKs house. KK then wiped the phone clean. One other point that could be coincedence, but why did Libby factory reset her phone?

  13. Gas stations are good landmarks and distinct places for people to meet for a normal unmalicious rendezvous. You're posts and the one above make a good point. You have cameras, clerks and customers as potential witnesses. In the act of a crime, not the smartest idea. But maybe they were thinking like normal people.

  14. That doesn't connect anyone to anything. Everyone with a purple car (and their family members who don't own a purple car, apparently!) does not now become a murder suspect in the Delphi case.

  15. Didnt they say about Ted Bundy, " Just because he was a White VW Beatle, doesnt mean its him. A lot of have White VW beatles" 50 murders later, maybe that clue about a White VW Beatle means something.

  16. Hmm, seems like post hoc reasoning to me. I just don't think that someone's mom owning a car that is similar to the car that one witness described is similar to the Ted Bundy case. And in any case, my point is that we shouldn't go around accusing people of involvement in a horrific child murder just because their mom owns a purple PT Cruiser.

  17. A 2005 distintive vehicle is pretty rare. Odds are low to be at crime scene and available to KK and TK.

  18. I get that KK tends to wear all black in many of his photos. But unlike RA, we have no indication about KK’s clothing that day or any evidence that he was on the trail or even in the vicinity. The witness who described seeing someone wearing all black may have been mistaken about the colour of RA’s clothing. Apparently, KK’s grandmother owned a purple PT Cruiser but no one can place him behind the wheel that day. Despite the continued interest in finding a connection to KK, there is no evidence that RA and KK knew each other or crossed paths (whether virtually or in person).

  19. I read RA and TK lived a couple blocks away from each other when RA lived in Peru. Thats a pretty close path.

  20. Eyewitness accounts are notoriously unreliable. All described a man in a dark hoodie/jacket. The color of pants can probably be written off to eyewitnesses being uncertain on details.

  21. From an anecdotal perspective: I witnessed a crime in 1999. Two guys did a jewelry grab at a dept store in St Louis. I was walking by outside and the two guys ran out and jumped in a getaway car. The guys jumped and split fast. I noted the license plate numbers. The police arrived and took statements. Some other dude saw the car and was had also memorized a license plate. His number was different then mine, and the dude was giving a statement with the police and started arguing the number i gave was wrong and that his was right. Kind of silly to argue. But the police took both numbers and probably checked both, but the point is shows people see similar but different things.

  22. I saw somewhere that KK mom had a purple PT cruiser on her facebook page. Someone posted a pick of a Purple PT cruiser next to TKs truck. I cant find now.

  23. You do realize this case doesn’t get brought to justice without LE right?

  24. You do realize this case would have gotten brought to justice over years ago with a much higher chance of achieving justice if LE didnt screw up on follow up on RA.

  25. Reply, not this Sig Sauer model .40 caliber model the standard gun used by Navy Seals. This is because its easy to conceal and maneuverable in tight places and has pop.

  26. I thought bullets only were marked by the gun after being shot? Confused how they confirmed it, they make it sound like a random bullet was there

  27. There is an extraction spring system in a gun. This is made of hard metal, and theoretically when the bullet is extracted, it leaves a consistent and specific extrusion mark on the casing.

  28. This is same FBI office that messed up the investigation into Larry Nassar and the gymnasts fiasco

  29. Jay Abbot was head of office overseeing this. He's the guy that ignored Kayla Maroney's complaint about Nassar because he was trying to get a big paying gig with USA gymnastics.

  30. .... how the heck did this happen in a high profile case!? I'm so confused. I can't wait until this story is played out in one of those True Crime series. The person that plays the clerk is going to have to be such a goof.

  31. Now thats a very specific looking vehicle with a very color. Probably would stick out more to a witness.

  32. Maybe RA wasn't "interested' in the other juveniles that were there that day. Also ,I'm pretty sure that KK targets a specific age that he can catfish with the Shots account.Plus we don't know the context of Libby and KK 's messages.Him walking with purpose with his head down shows that it was planned.

  33. Look at the timing. Girls had a planned meeting with Anthony Shots at 2PM. He gets there right before 2PM. Hangs out on the trail prior to two, when he sees the girls pass as they get there around 2PM. Intentionally walking to the trail, he had his gear and weapons ready. This is all a setup. KK talked to them that morning through AS account. KK even admitted he was going to meet them that day. KK googling Delphi gas station? Is that a coincedence.

  34. There's pics of Ron Logan that day. The pictures of him have clothes similar in style to the picture, but they are clearly not the same clothes that bridge guy was wearing.

  35. Very good point. I still suspect they got DNA from him, and it didnt match anything. Thats why they quit. They over relied on their DNA evidence, which either RA did a good job of cleaning up or the analyst failed to collect the killers sample. Maybe thats the other person.

  36. The thing that keeps nagging at me about KAK is his google search asking how long DNA lasts after the murders took place. If there is a possibility that more than one person was involved (which I had never thought until the more recent developments) - he seems super suspicious.

  37. Also, Libby factory resetting her phone just before the murder because it was “bugging” seems sooooo intentional to me. The fact that factory resetting the phone disabled find my iPhone seems like too much of a coincidence. Like the guy(s) told them to do that in order to hide messages from the catfish account, but actually did so with the intention of making sure the girls’ locations couldn’t be tracked.

  38. I always wondered why Libby did that? My speculation was A_S convinced her to get rid of any pictures/communications so he wouldnt get in trouble for being over 18.

  39. Why did he google the Delphi Marathon gas station on the day of the Murders? Why did he lie where he was that day? Why did his catfish A_Shots accounts say he was going to meet that day?

  40. Who knows if the case is weak or strong? Seems like both DA and defense attorney's are blustering. Based on the little bits of clues, the RA will have a very good defense unless they cant link RA to "other people involved" which i highly suspect is KK and TK.

  41. Yeah. I believe there is another hearing in January and a bail hearing on February. Judge is looking at redacted version to (I assume) see if they decide to release it, dk they release the redacted version or full version.

  42. Thats a long time away for a bail hearing. Sounds like the judge is just punting it down road. She'd be crucified if he was out on bail, but the defense might have a legitimate case to get reasonable bail. What good is the 8th amendment if you cant get a hearing.

  43. It sounds like KK isn't mentioned in the PCA. Why would RA's attorney state he has no idea who KK is unless he isn't mentioned in the PCA

  44. He know's who KK is. He just playing to the public that he wasnt mentioned in PCA. You can see where this defense is going to go. There somebody else involved, not linked to my client. Reasonable doubt???

  45. The cat theory is too out there for me! I just don’t buy it. RA was interviewed more than a week before his yard was dug up. It’s more likely that they questioned RA first, he denies it, LE let’s him go but still tails RA. Investigators see him burying something in the backyard after the interrogation. LE submits warrants. Warrant is signed off on by judges!

  46. Thats a good point. You could possibly make some good defense arguments about the cat hair. Like the cat maybe was an outside cat who walked to the scene, or its hair was blown to the scene, or maybe it blew off RA in one of the days he hiked and appeared near the scene.

  47. A defense attorney would normally not make a frivolous motion, as in this case a motion for bond. Does that mean the prosecution's case might me weaker than we'd think? Its possible, combine that with the unusual move to keep the probable cause warrant shielded or secret. Im a little more worried they dont have as much.

  48. He almost certainly has something from the scene. Probably got rid of his clothes, but I find it very hard to believe he destroyed something that belonged to the girls. It would be incredibly important to him to keep a souvenir, even if it put him at risk.

  49. Its possible. Just like "Dexter". There could be some truth to a psychopath psychology. But he would have also taken extreme measures to hide something like that.

  50. Yes, he moved to Delphi in 2006 from Peru. Which was just after the murder of the 18 year old Sopher girl.

  51. Really though, the LaFonds are a father and son in the Delphi area that helped build some of the trail benches. Apparently they were working on a bench on the other side of town the weekend of the murders. Derek Godsey went after them as suspects relentlessly-- total witch hunt city--just with less literacy than the DP crowd. The LaFonds are owed a huge apology.

  52. There's a lot of circumstantial evidence linking KK. The list includes: the A_S profile communicating with Libby and communicating even that morning. KK researching the Marathon Gas station in Delphi that morning and night before. A_S profile admitting he was supposed to meet up that day. Multiple people and IP addresses logging into A_S accounts, different Syntaxes and phoenitics of people communicating on A_S profile. The stalking voyeur incident associated with th A_S account when the girl gave the address. TK and KK lying to police with their alibi saying they were in Vegas during crime. I read TK and RA lived two blocks from each other in PERU. They know each other. KK wiping his phone that did not get found in raid. Somebody also convinced Libby to factory reset her phone right before the crime. Theres a lot of smoke

  53. Wasn’t KK searching a Delphi gas station on the day of the murders too?

  54. Almost 3 years time served our of 6.5 is 3.5 ..he'll be out in less than 2 years with no plea agreement

  55. In a Murder Sheet episode this summer, they talked about the 30 charges against KK. They said it would be very likely that some of the charges would be dropped in against KK because all the charges would have to be proven in court, and a few of them would be very difficult to prove. A few charges are for pictures of teenage girls close to 18, but they dont know who the girls are and their age. They said these charges could be defended and would jeopardize the whole case. I think the dropped charges didnt have anthing to do with the arrest.
