  1. I like the weight of it. Feels nice in your hands. Cashiers have said the same thing to me.

  2. That big, chunky metal card ‘loosened up’ a brand new Square reader at a junk food vendor once. Clerk was struggling to swipe, that’s for sure.

  3. Not enough money to do dumb things... (kids can't afford to move out / live on their own)

  4. I choose to not make public statements about my religion, politics or ‘third rail’ issues at work. Work is work.

  5. Honestly Atlanta is pretty boring tourist destination but a great city to live in

  6. According to the article, he left so many breadcrumbs right to his front door. Dumbass.

  7. I’ve seen a Dodge Avenger with over 400k. The guy bought it new with a lifetime oil change package and he used it.

  8. My father in law did that with a grand Cherokee. The dealership whined when he showed up religiously every 3k miles.

  9. Does one have to be a kid? Cause I’d love the chance to run around in a bulldozer and knock some shit down.

  10. Married a catholic. She is well aware of my feelings towards the church. It isn’t a problem in our relationship, and she appreciates what the TST has been trying to do. She believes that religion has no place in public schools, and that freedom of speech is for everyone.

  11. Watt hour is a better number to use when trying to figure out how much battery you need. A 20,000mah battery is 74wh.

  12. Got any specific battery suggestions? I have an Anker battery that the Amazon listing claims works, but I haven’t tried it yet (due to Amazon debacle above).

  13. I ordered this before a trip to Asia. Not once, but twice they sent me a shitty cigarette lighter adapter.

  19. The town I grew up in did something very similar. In the 80s or 90s they blocked off the entire main street of the city for 8-10 blocks in an effort to create an outdoor district just like that. Being in the rust belt the lack of car traffic killed business for everyone in the midst of the diversion for a good 8 months out of the year so practically everything moved to the neighboring town. They reopened the street but the damage had been done. Downtown essentially became a ghost town except for two larger companies for a good 30 years.

  20. Erie, PA. They called it the "Transitway Mall" and it was between 1987 until they finally rewidened State Street in 1993.

  22. Some of us ‘built’ our way into the community. Starter home elsewhere, sweat equity, saving, driving shitty cars, not taking bodacious vacations, etc.

  23. Does everybody know going in how terrible working at Zug Island is for your health? If so why do people do it?
