  1. it should be fine to use the processor as is, but if you're worried, use some alcohol to loosen the adhesive without damaging the processor. Might be a good idea since the processor will likely get hot.

  2. as an android user, apple made good use of the pill-shaped cutout with the dynamic island. kind of a weird name, but it's a genuinely cool feature.

  3. How is educating students to have safe sexual encounters in any way "changing science and forcing down people's throats?" The fuck are you talking about?

  4. It's "sex ed," isn't it? That isn't going to be the only thing they're teaching and you know it. I'm still in highschool, I would know.

  5. Sex ed teaches anatomy, how sex and masturbation works, how pregnancy works, how to prevent pregnancy and diseases, proper hygiene, and gives students the knowledge to be safe when having sex.

  6. All I'm saying is it shouldn't be forced for straight people to have to hear things that don't align with what they stand for. I'm not trying to "act all smart because I know everything." I don't. As I said, if schools had a separate class specifically for trans people, that would be fine by me.

  7. I was really hoping there was a punchline I was missing, but no. This guy's CPU is just really broken.

  8. See it's not that people hate diversity, they hate people changing what they already know and love. If you wanna make a show that's kinda like Scooby Doo but with diversity that's fine, but if you change the original, everyone's gonna know and there's gonna be hate. I don't know maybe I'm just weird but I feel like I'm not the only one who thinks like that.

  9. If you have it plugged in all the time it could affect the battery like that. That's what happened to my laptop.

  10. Controversial take, but maybe you just shouldn't be a baby about and take the bun off.

  11. I've have run my taskbar vertically on the left side of my monitor since laptop screens first moved from 4:3 and 5:4 aspects to 16:9 and 16:10.

  12. Did you respond to the wrong comment? I wasn't talking about the windows taskbar...

  13. No, I was kind of replying to you, whilst generally having a rant at how shit Windows 11 is, I guess in disbelief that they would dit h such an obvious usability feature.

  14. Ah ok. Yeah they changed/removed tons of features and at first I didn't know why. I think the reason why they removed so many features is because Microsoft is changing everything over to run on APPX instead of win32, which is a terrible decision since its notorious for having terrible performance on HDDs and low end systems, but its because they want to encourage other people to switch to developing for APPX instead.

  15. This happened today within seconds of each other in a conversation… it was switching back and forth in the conversation between white and blue. There was no pattern as to when this would happen and it’s driving me nuts!

  16. I'm not lost, I'm just making controversial comments that everyone here apparently hates. I made a joke and everyone down voted it lol. My comments are still related to iPhones.

  17. The only time they ever cooperate is when they are punching down at a common target. Left to their own devices they turn on each other like a rats in a dumpster.

  18. It evaporates very fast, so it's dry. Probably dried before you even finished writing your post.

  19. This should be a pop-up when you run the game for the first time.

  20. Did you ever figure out how to remove the front panel? I couldn't find any videos online. And what type of RAM setup is in yours?

  21. Yeah I managed to get the front panel off once before. You have to remove both side panels and if you look closely there should be 3 or 4 plastic tabs on each side friction-fitting the front panel onto the metal frame. It's pretty annoying to remove. Be careful if you do attempt it too, since there's cables for the RGB on the front that aren't super long. I almost ripped mine when I attempted this. Mine had 16gb (2x8gb 3200mhz) sticks in it when I bought it, but I have since put another 16 Gb (2x8gb 3200mhz) in. I wouldn't add more ram unless you absolutely need it as I barely ever get close to hitting 16 Gb of ram usage, I just wanted to future proof my build a bit.

  22. Super helpful, thank you! I didn't consider taking off the right panel. As soon as I took the tower out of the box I took the left side panel off to inspect the parts. I noticed the HDD is underneath the GPU and inaccessible, figuring the wrong has to come off to reach underneath to swap hard drives.

  23. I mixed the ram. I currently have 4x8gb sticks in it. I got the cheapest Teamgroup branded ram I could find. I'm running an insider build of windows 11 but it came with windows 10. I've been a windows 11 insider since the first build and I've never had this issue on any other PC, but I've also installed Linux on mine and the issue was nowhere to be found. I ended up switching back to windows though since I have no clue how to use terminal which you kinda need to know for Linux and I ran into driver problems. Glad I could help! I took the front panel off when I tried mining on my card after someone managed to bypass LHR. Definitely wasn't worth it. I spent more money in power consumed than I made mining. Of course now mining isn't viable anyway. Probably took a year off my machines lifespan lol.

  24. Just install a Snapchat mod with dark mode and a few more features

  25. Actually I may have misunderstood, I thought you meant night mode. Didn't even know dark mode was a thing. Oops!

  26. Well the British Office was WAY better than the yank version.

  27. That's just a controversial opinion. I think you're wrong though.

  28. What Elon Musk has done with Twitter is extremely beneficial and has saved the app.

  29. Malwarebytes premium. Trusted brand, great detection rates, saved my dad and me from getting a nasty virus more than once. 10/10 would recommend.

  30. Use a private DNS server on your network. You can have it block adult sites and some malicious sites and content. It's not perfect, but it's something. Another thing is a good antivirus, like Malwarebytes.
