  1. No, not normal at all. And I'm worried over the fact that you're thinking it is. If you're planning on having kids, I'd strongly recommend therapy to avoid turning into your mom. Not trying to offend. That's just what happens when we age, and you often have to actively work against it.

  2. Hi. As odd as it sounds I had therapy about this over the last year. Weirdly I posted this because recently went into a brief denial spiral about this but comments like this are extremely validating because I'm such a people pleaser / anxious person that sometimes I think I'm just being over the top or that I'm just making a fuss out of nothing.

  3. I hate the Great Gatsby, I loathe it. The heavy-handed symbolism, the story's rythm and structure, the dialog and character dynamics, to me it's a complete flop.

  4. Read this and thought for a second I'd created an Alt Account. This is my exact opinion. Always see people defending Gatsby by saying "but everyone's supposed to be unlikeable" but I always ask are the characters interesting?

  5. OP here. Post is clearly a joke but my opinion on Free Fire is sincere. Big fan of Wheatley but that film is a misfire of epic proportions.

  6. Donald Trump. I loathe him but his influence over America at the moment is critical in setting the national debate.

  7. Not sure if it's been mentioned here but Sabrina by Nick Drasso is superb. Really good storytelling and I love his minimalist art style.

  10. It's got to be The Fall or The General for me. Never really hear them talked about because they're less concerned with missions and more concerned with internal campus politics - which is what I love about the series!

  11. Because in geographical terms it would have had to have been Swindon - the worst of all worlds! Or at a stretch Didcot, which was considerably grimmer, or at least duller, then that it is now. And all the supporting characters would be miles either east or west. So you'd have to invent a whole new set of characters

  12. My world does not end with these four walls. Barry Island’s a big place. When I’ve finished with Barry Island, there’s Reading, Aldershot, Bracknell. Didcot, Yateley. You know. Winnersh. Taplow. Because I am my own boss. Burghfield

  13. It's objectively shit from a technical and lyrical perspective but also I get a big goofy smile when he says "My Life's Crazy... Like Obama's."

  14. I now work in Branded Content full time. Same creativity and content making but more stable and without the TV egos!

  15. Hey, would love to DM you about this! I'm very curious about a similar role. Sounds ideal.

  16. Hey OP, feel free to message me directly with any questions. I grew up in NI, moved away for uni and then to London, where I met my now wife. Stayed in London for eight years total and then we both moved to Belfast.

  17. They were in production. They did a couple of certifications and then went from there. They had all the skills just needed the certificates.

  18. Ok so this is random but we literally used to reduce the number of chairs in a given room and distribute them evenly around various rooms.

  19. Time to watch Dr. Who, finally!

  21. Ladhood - exceptionally well made British comedy by Liam Williams which is on iPlayer. If you grew up in the north of England in the 2000s it's scarily accurate.

  22. ADORE this movie. Is my go to recommendation if someone wants a good black comedy. Me and my fiance are always saying "look, I'm musing" to each other.
