  1. He's been very open about the fact that what he really enjoys doing is marketing himself. Going to Eurovision is the biggest opportunity he has had for this in his life, so he's just living his best life enjoying what he likes doing. Which I think is pretty fair. If you don't like his style, that's fair too. You should then just ignore it and focus on the artists you do like. Posts like this don't really achieve anything besides negativity

  2. WD40 is a solvent, not a lubricant

  3. Everyone Wants to be a Wastelander until they find out it means they have diarrhea like 80% of the time

  4. Iirc in that vault the men all started killing one another

  5. Disney will request one for the Magic Kingdom.

  6. Give it enough time, like maybe a century or so, and if it's still standing I'd argue that it would probably deserve it then. It has had a big cultural impact

  7. I’d say Disneyland (original) deserves one today.

  8. Possibly yeah, tho I'd also nominate Tivoli Gardens in Denmark and the Efteling in the Netherlands as well

  9. Explanation: Finland would have to give part of the Karelian isthmus but will receive East Karelia in exchange. But it would become an stalinist puppet state. Thinking in long term, losing the Winter War might be beneficial for Finland since USSR would collapse anyway and Finland would keep Karelia

  10. In this scenario Finland would have been a puppet state of the USSR as that was the ultimate goal of the soviets

  11. Didn't want to subject the Finns living there to sudden foreign rule or force them to leave their homes.

  12. They wanted to overthrow the Finnish government and install a puppet regime yeah

  13. Last time the MECC in Maastricht was also a contender I believe.

  14. The final 2 were even Ahoy Rotterdam and MECC Maastricht. The reason being that Maastricht holds a lot of symbolic value as the birthplace of the EU. If the Netherlands wins again anytime soon I hope for Maastricht this time.

  15. Depends really, Europe is massively varied in building styles and use of high rises. It doesn't all look like old town Strasbourg. There's definitely parts of Europe that look like this, especially in newer built areas. And in a hypothetical scenario where a city only has that limited amount of space to build, the only way is to build up. (It's for example the reason why Helsinki has started to build Skyscrapers, the city can't expand outwards anymore)

  16. Nah even in the parts of Europe where they have highrises like in the UK, a tiny fraction of Germany, and The Netherlands there are never places that look like this build. For some more context, below is the skyline of london, and yes while there are some really old buildings its not like you are gonna get super crazy massive skyscrapers next to some old buildings.

  17. Looks good. I would put a grass surface under the field tho to Signify it being a playing field

  18. Woah chill. I never even said my opinion on this situation lol so you don’t know who agrees or disagrees.

  19. I'm sorry if I don't take kindly to people making condescending remarks and name calling others. At least where I'm from that's considered not okay behavior

  20. Name calling? I didn’t call anyone a name. If paid employee is considered derogatory then I feel like we should be having a different discussion. But since humor is subjective, I personally find condescending behavior kinda funny. I’m having a good time.

  21. Calling someone a "white knight" on Reddit is always meant as an insult. But I can tell you're just a troll so this conversation is over. Reported and blocked

  22. Joost's 5 other people on stage? Olly Alexander, Ursula von der Leyen, Rishi Sunak, King Charles III and Charles Michel

  23. This actually brings up an interesting question: has there ever been a time in Eurovision history where a person has been on stage for multiple different competing acts, in a singing role or otherwise? Is that even allowed by the rules?

  24. To avoid any potential rule breaking as symbolic gesture for the rejoining the UK and Netherlands actually merge their song. this year's the entry is really called Dizzy Europapa and is a duet between Joost and Olly. Personally I'm not really seeing it but I'm open minded about it

  25. Asset mods are still highly experimental and can cause issues.

  26. honestly i am really loving the fun of making random assets work with building stuff and turns out barns make decent looking stands

  27. There's actual big stadium stand props as well btw. They are called "SportsParkStandLarge" in the game

  28. This is golden. There's also a meme about not Russian bombs killing civilians, but Finnish anti-air shrapnel.

  29. The USSR foreign minister Molotov also claimed that the cluster bombs they dropped on Finland were actually food aid for the poor starving civilians. They were dubbed "Molotov breadbaskets" and the name Molotov cocktail then came about when Finns fighting against the Russian forces referred to their fire bombs as "a drink to go with the bread"

  30. What mods did you have installed? And in particular, did you install any asset mods?

  31. I wouldn't expect anything until the last of the DLC for Starfield has been released. The first DLC of Starfield hasn't been released yet, so I wouldn't hold out hope for anything this year

  32. It's Sunday morning in Finland. The earliest we'll hear something is tomorrow

  33. My guess is to at least wait till Monday before starting to delete things. it's unfortunate that this happened over the weekend and monday is the earliest CO can respond to this. I hope that they fix it then, or make a statement when they think it can be fixed, and based on how long that would take I would decide whether you want to delete it or not

  34. Mainline Fallout yes. Doesn't stop Microsoft from licensing out a spinoff like New vegas. Or even a remake of the older games.

  35. to whom tho? All the studios capable of making a big open world Fallout like rpg are busy working on their own IP. And Microsoft as a studio owner takes a very hands off approach and mostly let's studios make what they want without forcing IP on anyone

  36. Yeah but I’m willing to bet Microsoft is really interested in capitalizing on the success of the show and the additional audience that’s been gained

  37. Again, made by whom? All their devs who can do it are busy on other projects Microsoft also wants to make money from. Any Fallout game they would produce probably won't be done faster than Fallout 5.

  38. The Netherlands is very positive this year. There's widespread belief we're at least in with a chance.

  39. I believe there is a chance, and the odds some to agree (3rd in the betting odds) but if I were a betting man I'd bet on Switzerland.

  40. I think "drinking" being an actual skill is more of a reminder that he is, afterall, a slav

  41. And not just any slav, a czech. While regular humans are about 70% water, Czech are 70% pilsner

  42. Surprisingly, it actually isn't forever broken! Uninstalled staircase asset mod, and removed files from the Local Files. Booted the save back up, and the buildings are back! I'm actually surprised it didn't permanently break the save, but I'm very thankful. Put a lot of work on this save, making a custom lake similar to the one I grew up living on

  43. That's good, I'm glad. I think that's an issue with the road asset mods that they can fully break your save if removed.

  44. But my remark about my patience running out is hardly just because of this issue. Sure this one might be out of there hands, but everything else has been their doing. Forgive me if I'm a little unrationally upset after having DLC I willingly paid for forcibly refunded and entirely removed from my game though lmao

  45. it's shitty yeah, likely steam removed it much quicker than anticipated. I hope they patch it in asap, tho seeing as it's weekend now that sadly won't be until at least Monday. But yeah, it sucks and you have every right to be upset because it is a stupid ass mistake.

  46. Obviously because it's a main quest point, no matter how many times she reloads, it won't change

  47. Not if you never trigger the quest! This is a bethesda game, we can ignore main quests

  48. The Russian acts weren’t appreciated after their 2014 invasion of Ukraine. They would have been even less appreciated if allowed to participate after their 2022 invasion of Ukraine. This wasn’t bigotry, this was shunning someone who chose to be the flag bearer for that state and their actions in an international competition.

  49. Russia got 6th in the televotes in 2014, second place in the televotes in 2015 and first place in the televotes in 2016. So saying that they weren't appreciated after 2014 sounds a bit revisionist history to me
