If you take a look at the longer historical context, to a certain extent the Israeli left is actually a victim of its own success. The moderate left of the 70s and 80s was against the idea of any other state to the west of the Jordan and believed that Israel must maintain control of the mountains of Judea and Samaria as well as the Jordan valley and the areas around Jerusalem and settlement blocs. This was the stated position of the Labour party in their platform. This is largely what is today called "Area C". Anyone with these positions today would be considered somewhere to the right of the Likud. The positions that are today mainstream in the Israeli political center and moderate right are actually pretty close to the positions of the extreme left of the 70s and 80s at least in this regard. The moderate left of the 70s and 80s would not have implemented the Hebron agreements that Netanyahu signed or Sharon's disengagement.
Just the fact that you're asking already means you'll be fine. Showing curiosity about Israeli culture and asking questions like the ones you asked above will generally be well received. Other than that, as others have said, recognize that Israelis are very direct and there is no almost sense of hierarchy. Don't take it personally.
You can cure it by entering Bney Braq and joining some yashiva. Downside - you will grow a beard and will wear same clothes for the rest of your life. There is more, but it's a surprise for later.
If you have Zionism, talk to your doctor about Netureikartazine. Side effects of Netureikatazine may include peyos, a beard, hair loss (for women), and stone throwing.
They may not be checking in Tel-Aviv but I've been stopped multiple times by the police in Jerusalem and in the Modiin area. They've checked my essential worker papers and looked me up in their systems to ensure that I'm not supposed to be in quarantine.
You can type in any ASCII code character this way. Anyone programming in the 80s did a lot of this to generate frames and boxes out of ASCII text with characters like ╔, ╗, etc
Favorite line from him: "It had never occurred to me that bears might travel in packs, what would I do if I came across a PACK of bears? Why, I would die of course, literally shit myself lifeless"
“All the books tell you that if the grizzly comes for you, on no account should you run. This is the sort of advice you get from someone who is sitting at a keyboard when he gives it. Take it from me, if you are in an open space with no weapons and a grizzly comes from you, run. You may as well. If nothing else, it will give you something to do with the last seven seconds of your life.”
Not sure why but in Israel, American peanuts are coated peanuts, American tests are multiple choice tests, and soft ice cream is called American ice cream.
Thank you! I will.
You may get better results calling the vet of the local council. Try calling 106.

Jumper Cables.
Compressor for inflating tires.
Telescoping Lug Wrench. Cost $15-$20 and makes changing tires much easier. I don't know why they're not standard equipment.
It looks like the gopher from Caddyshack!
