  1. Dickey had a melodic touch to the guitar that few others possessed. Him and Duane had a perfect partnership. It’s a shame it didn’t last longer.

  2. It’s hard for me to say that I’m shocked he passed but it still saddens me to see one of the greatest guitarists of all time pass. I’ll be playing plenty of his music in his honor.

  3. I’ve never been a fan of the artificial scarcity aspect of it, as well as the scalpers. I also feel like there are too many unnecessary releases like picture discs or demo recordings that artists release for the sake of releasing something on RSD. As long as the record store keeps people in order then the crowds aren’t too bad to deal with it.

  4. Comparison is the thief of joy. May ‘77 is a high point in the Grateful Dead’s history. Just listen and enjoy, no need to say one is better than the other.

  5. Thin Lizzy, Lowell George, Jim Croce, and The Doors.

  6. I would pay $100 to hear Bob Seger sing “Turn the page” live. This song is hands down my favorite song. It is very soulful and passionately sung. Alto on sax is hypnotizing. Is the anyone’s fav?

  7. I saw Bob on his farewell tour. When this song was on there was a single spotlight on Bob during the performance.

  8. It’s a shame Jeff Beck spent his last few years playing with this guy on stage. I have no clue what he saw in Depp, it wasn’t talent, that’s for sure.

  9. Great guitarist, great songwriter and great voice. He had it all and gone far too soon.

  10. The driving baseline in L.A. Woman from Jerry Scheff really sets the tone for the song.

  11. There's an official release of this show, if anyone wants to hear a band with a lead singer going off their rocker:

  12. I own a copy of this and listen to it every now and then. The shows aren’t bad but Jim really goes off the rails when he starts to talk.

  13. The cops used to be really bad. They still are, but they used to be, too.

  14. I bought a brand new copy years ago when it came out and it didn’t include a booklet and I was none the wiser. Never knew what I was missing.

  15. Still the same and til it shines have a similar tempo to night moves but they don’t have harmonica.

  16. If you guys could stop getting the lovable meme players that would be cool

  17. The first 2 Bon Jovi albums are really good.

  18. Danny Kirwin was much better. It was Danny playing when most thought it was actually Pete the whole time.

  19. I disagree. Danny was great but Peter was incredible in his own right. Check out this solo by Peter if you’ve never listened to it.

  20. UConn’s run these past two seasons was incredible to witness even if the games weren’t competitive. We might never see this type of dominance in CBB again.

  21. People were saying Edey had to score 40 for Purdue to win, he scores 37 and they still lose by double digits.

  22. When is Hurley going to put his son in? That’s when we know it’s officially over.

  23. Welp. This looks over. What y'all doing after? I'm thinking about watching the two towers, haven't seen since it was released. Worth watching the extended version?

  24. I might be in the minority opinion because I think the original version is better but this is a great cover.
