  1. That is not at all what that means. Positive calories means if you're only eating that one thing that you won't starve. Like bananas, it would take a frick ton of bananas and it wouldn't be extremely healthy, but you could survive on a diet of only bananas for years. Celery, as the article said multiple times, is a negative calorie food. Meaning by the time the food is digested, your body has burned more calories than the food gave you. That means that if you were only eating celery, you would eventually die from malnourishment. It might take a bit longer than if you had 0 food, but you would eventually die and the cause of that death would be a calorie deficit that your body couldn't handle anymore.

  2. From the beginning I said that nothing takes more calories to consume than it does to digest. I never changed what I was saying.

  3. Ok this has clearly turned into an "I can explain it for you, I can't understand it for you" situation, so I'm going to bow out. I never thought I'd waste this much time talking about the negative calorie impact of celery, but here we are. Have a good one.

  4. Whatever, I understand what you’re explaining. That’s just not what I would call a “negative calorie impact”. I don’t think we really disagree that much

  5. In baseball, a change for the better can often lead to worse outcomes right off the bat. I struggle with this teach high schoolers because I show them a better way to swing and the first time they try it they fail and immediately go back to what was working, even though their potential while swinging that way is far lower. I believe that the hitting lessons can only benefit your son in the long term. In the short term it might helmet a little as he gets used to it. Is that worth it to you and him? If you think he may become discouraged by the change then maybe not. If you think he will stick it out then yes, it’s probably for the better.

  6. Troy would be fun but prime Ben definetly helps this team more

  7. I’d say he’s younger than that. More like Aangs age

  8. In what way is he a perfect fit? Dude played only zone and struggled with lateral movement making it harder to put him at slot

  9. He means he’s really hard nosed. A great team guy with sneaky athleticism. Has great intangibles. Ya know, stuff like that

  10. I did not, you misunderstood my first comment

  11. It’s not massing if your off of substances. It’s roiding. And he’ll do just fine without them

  12. Okay, let me clarify. I’m natty, I went from 5’8, 165lbs to 200 lbs in about 2 years and now I’m cutting back down to compete in an OCB show. I thought that was beneficial for me and added a lot of strength. Based on my experience I believe it would also be beneficial for him

  13. When you make contact with the ball your hands should be by your shoulder. You’re dropping your hands, that’s why you popped the first one up. The second one you kept your hands high, probably because the pitch was also high. The hands should always be there though.

  14. I coach high school so it’s a little different but I litterally tell them they don’t have to be friends, they just have to play baseball together😂. As long as you’re winning it works

  15. Okay dude, what sample size are u using when you say you keep grounding out, because if it’s less than 5 games I wouldn’t be worried.

  16. Because him burning the throne has no point and people have to try and come up with different explanations

  17. One airbender thousands of years ago is easy for him to omit when he’s correcting someone that thinks airbenders can just fly

  18. I think Stoick dying is the saddest thing but I was saddest at the end of 3 because I knew that was the ending

  19. I didn't even know it was the ending tbh.

  20. I was back and forth but it won’t let me change to Stoick dies after the fact. I was more emotional at dragons leaving. Maybe it was because it telegraphed and I was building up to it. I actually do think Stoick dying is sadder but similarly to you. I wasn’t ready for it so it took me a few rewatches to really feel it. They also move on to defeat dragon afterward so it’s kinda in the back of my mind by the end of the movie, while the dragons stay gone.

  21. I like his info and I’m not blocked, but I had a similar interaction when I asked him a question and he called me either a troll or an idiot. He acts like he wants to share information but then doesn’t react well when people simply ask him about said information or share opinions. I mean… I can go do my own research but I’d still like to know how you came to your conclusion

  22. We gonna have 3/4 the killer B’s reunited

  23. Zuko knew there were Fire Nation Colonies since we was a child

  24. You have to look at the situation. With no one on it will be very rare, with a runner in scoring position it will be more common.

  25. As a natural, when cutting. When bulking look bigger but not like I have a ton more muscle

  26. I like your new coach. My team also subscribes to the bat head up+flat path mentality. We aren't alone in this, but based on the teams we play we also aren't in the majority.

  27. It’s not about flat vs up. It’s just an arc that you create around your hands with the barrel of the bat and that had to intersect the ball. Turn the barrel into the ball, don’t take your hands forward to the ball.

  28. "shoulder to shoulder" just made me think about when a group of guys will just dig a hole at the beach. Great day.

  29. Funny thing about that. We don’t actually need to talk to any of those people we’re digging with, don’t need to know names, don’t need to know family situations, don’t need to know where someone if from, he’ll… we don’t even really need to know WHY we’re digging the hole. Just where to dig

  30. Men can actually do an activity together without talking. I’ve gone through a whole workout with my buddy without ever saying a word to him.

  31. He’s probs not the best role model for Pickens

  32. Pickens is a grown ass man. We do t need to worry about role models for him

  33. I’ve never seen so many comments from people hating on a kid for attempting to follow his dreams, that’s crazy

  34. Saying “no, he doesn’t have enough muscle for the Olympia, he may get his pro card this year” is completely different than “he should just stop, he can’t do this. I don’t know why he even tries”

  35. Because he’s completely full of himself

  36. If you don’t do clubs / bars what do you do? If you run, join a running club. Great way to find girls with similar interests then convert their boyfriends.

  37. It probably occurred near where the parabolic microphone guy was stationed

  38. I think the cardinals defender that was on Holmes actually rolled into it

  39. Just rewatched it. I think it’s the cardinals defender rolling into the microphone. Happens at the same time
