Imo I believe GT’s iteration of Gogeta definitely F’d up the bag, that was probably Goku’s part to blame as he was acting care free during the series which hints at his “higher plane of ascension” at the conclusion of GT. That’s what I think anyways as Ssj4 Gogeta could’ve finished the fight before he defused
