I worked Public Safety so the workload was already constant as there’s never really an “off” time. People are always on shift and we were a small team. I went to a non-government role that seemed more interesting and it worked out great. With that said, do your due diligence. Research the company, their core values, look up work reviews, any kind of news articles, etc. You’re always taking a chance so temper your expectations. After about 6 months you really stop thinking about it. I only miss the people I worked with and making buddies doesn’t get you the money or skills you need.

Eh, okay. Conventions just aren't my thing. It's an awkward scene, paying $100+ to meet someone who probably isn't having a good time. He has a cranky disposition anyway. I had never met anyone before, so was unsure of protocol. I only did a selfie, no autograph. Hr came back eating a popsicle which he had to sit on its wrapper to meet folks. I hope he got to finish it before it melted. So I welcomed him back to rainy Pittsburgh, and he volunteered that he liked our airport. I asked him if he had been to the Monroeville Mall (where Dawn was filmed) which is across the street, and he said he had. In his Q&A two years ago he expressed his admiration and friendship for Romero whom he visited in town decades ago. He had a line and only a half hour to meet folks before his Q&A, so I thanked him and left. He was cranky at the Q&A which, unlike his appearance two years ago, was in a tent in the parking lot in cold, rain, and wind, a really awful set-up.
That sucks, but honestly I’d rather meet my heroes for better or worse than not at all. I can chalk it up to “people being people” in the end but getting to shake their hand makes it all worthwhile. I never got to shake Romero’s hand and tell him how amazing he was and that will always sit with me.
Never. The greatest gift Trump has given this country is exposing that the law is for “poor” people. I don’t care what any headlines will ever say, this man will never see the inside of a jail cell.
I saw this interview and Jimmy keeps bringing up the whole “nerd can’t be good looking” and kept teasing Henry about being a nerd.. the joke got so damn old already. Who the hell does he think his audiences are? This guy always have mcu casts in his show so you would think he would stop with the lame old nerd joke. I wouldn’t be surprised if Caville was a bit annoyed.
I mean it's a pretty big deal but in all honesty I'm more interested in what transpires at the bond hearing on April 22. I can't see that fly-by-night surety being allowed to stand, and I can't imagine Engoron would grant another delay, which means we'll start seeing the seizure of a certain criminal defendant's assets start to proceed.

15 years at one company got me up to 96k.
Yup. The comfort I had was my setback. I think in 15 years my top was ~90k. Finally quit that job and got offered 105k for less work.
Did you know it’d be less work? My fear of switching of jobs is that my work life balance might become terrible.
