Stradocaster

  1. I’m overthinking it because I have to learn how to play it. I can’t just sit around like 🧍🏾‍♀️. I get what your saying though I just don’t want to go through all this trouble.

  2. I hear ya. you don't get enough time in band class to learn it? is there someone you can work with? another trumpet player or someone who plays/reads In Bb? my best friend in HS played clarinet and we helped each other often.

  3. Weird, didn't know kids disappeared on spring break. I guess hanging out is a thing of the past

  4. Lovely shots. Of course I have to ask how you do the border

  5. Anyone saying they use magic way for anything other than Disneyland is full of crap, that ship had sailed.

  6. I have a friend that lives near there and I use the Disney way exit and pass by the parks to get to his place when I’m coming from the north,

  7. Essentially you’re just practicing so yes, it should help . That being said don’t have high expectations (no pun intended!). The lack of rest and brutal range/register would make this challenging for most everyone. Clearly not a part originally intended for trumpet

  8. You say you’ve done research on lenses, so what lens did you land on? $500 is pretty tight but I’d get your preferred brand/body plus a 50mm prime. Whatever model maxes out your budget, I guess.

  9. The lense I landed on was a 85mm f/1.8 which is about £160 used.

  10. Just watching Lana Del Ray feat Billie Eilish, there’s definitely some combination of Lana’s mumbly style coupled with her being WAAAAAY off mic!

  11. Id speculate that maybe artists like that just need a lot of rehearsal time to get a decent show up, and festivals by their nature have little to no rehearsal time

  12. The rehearsal takes place off site in the weeks (or months in the case of some shows) leading up to the festival. The entire show: audio, lighting, video and stage set is built in a production rehearsal facility like Rock Lititz, or one of the larger sound stages in LA, and then after rehearsals are complete the whole production is loaded into the festival, usually overnight, and run just like it was in rehearsals. A Coachella headline performance is not put together on site on the day of the show!

  13. Oh I wouldn't have assumed Lana was the headliner of the day.

  14. Just pay it and tell them you're disappointed with the service and won't be coming back

  15. The 2018 is pretty on par for power to size so don't expect too much "faster" of a feel.

  16. Having kinda lived through it, watching companies refuse to change and keep up with the times has been a wild thing.

  17. when you really do the math and look at the facts, a car is almost always a better choice.

  18. From what I remember, they had around $2500 markup from invoice to MSRP,  so it sounds like they just wanna move it but they're still making a bit of money. Good for you, good for them.

  19. Once you factor in shipping and putting it together profit is less than 10%. No way markup was $2,500.

  20. You think it’s more? Dealer also charges prep and freight on top of all that, which are usually inflated, meaning more profit…

  21. One of my oldest memories is of playing Super Mario world on SNES and talking to my friends on the school playground about tips and tricks

  22. I got mine at launch and only had BotW for a long time 😂

  23. They're being down voted because It's not what op Asked

  24. How long were you away? Could be easier to come back with a more "correct" embouchure if you no longer have muscle memory

  25. Does anyone else really struggle with perspective and scale when looking at this photo of the wreck, and also at the bow section on the sea floor, too? I feel like the ship looks small and a human standing next to it would be the same size as it or even taller.

  26. To me,the lighting and wide angle lens has a bit of a “tilt shift” effect

  27. Lol at five years old it’s not “effectively new” regardless of mileage. Also the difference between 13k and 30k is negligible

  28. Whelp, distracted typing. I still standby that 13k is far from new. Try to get anyone to buy a new car at a dealer with more than 13 miles and they’d bawk at it

  29. I was thinking a canon t6 as I can get one for $200 Canadian, or a canon t7 for $529 Canadian, quite the price difference, not sure what to get

  30. I say go with the $200 body.  Buy a nice 1.8 50mm lens and get learning!

  31. When it turns off, it just resets. My tv sleep mode setting is off.

  32. Interesting. overheating, maybe? How’re the fans? Is it dusty? You ever open it up?

  33. If money is that tight for you, get the cheap one. The OLED is nice but it’s not a game changer.

  34. Some says that there are a lot of differences, and I'm in doubt if it's worth the wait.

  35. I had the original. Loved it. I bought the OLED, sold my LCD. So, I lost maybe $400 in the upgrade. To me, not a particularly mind blowing upgrade. SO yeah, my vote remains: Buy the one you can afford now.
