  1. I know it sucks now, but it will get better. Could you imagine this woman raising children?

  2. It’s narcissistic to be upset about her own behavior that you took exception to. You are speaking about her behavior, not yours. You didn’t make a scene, you didn’t yell. You were never unreasonable. You told her that HER actions upset you. Her actions were out of line and you are well within your rights to be upset about them.

  3. I’ve been with my wife for about 25 years. The excitement does fade, after time. Our relationship is comfortable. We both work at it. I still really enjoy her, and want her as a partner.

  4. Well done. You saved some fawns and calves. What are you planning to do with the meat? I usually make sausage. Myself and my family like bear best when it doesn’t taste like bear. I will make breakfast and summer sausage as well as snack sticks with my bears. Summer sausage is very popular and friends and family enjoy it as a gift.

  5. Why hunt a bear for meat if you don’t like the taste of bear meat? Honestly curious. There are so many other animals to hunt.

  6. Predator control is important for fawn and calf protection. Bears are getting active after winter and when fawns and calves are being born. I enjoy bear, but it is not my favorite. As a deer and elk hunter I believe that it’s important to do my part to help control predators.

  7. In vino veritas. In wine,is truth. She told you what she thinks of you. Even though you provide for her in your own way, she has resentment. Even though you allowed her to pursue her own career, with no obligations, she thinks she deserves more. There are plenty of partners who do more than her. Sorry you are going through this.

  8. I thought I saw a YouTube video of someone putting hand warmers on their SeeStar but I am not certain. I don’t remember as it pretty much never gets below 0 where I am

  9. I’m from a small town in Oregon. We had a city manager that got arrested for shoplifting. The city council refused to fire her, and actually renewed her contract. It was a scandal. A recall election was held. A number of city council members lost their jobs. When the new council was seated they immediately fired the city manager. South Whitley needs to remind these city officials that they can be replaced.

  10. Someone else posted this same story on this subreddit and mentioned an internal investigation that the South Whitley Police Department did after the incident and found no wrongdoing (big shocker there). Evidently the cop was from Indianapolis which makes me wonder what caused him to go from Indy to Whitley like if he was under investigation for some wrongdoing

  12. It bugs me she thinks that art has to be worth money to be enjoyed

  13. I hope you gave it to them. I would cherish something like that of my wife and I

  14. This is Reddit…we all know that is what is really going on

  15. You are correct about a divorce. She blame shifted, and has zero accountability for her own actions. She was absolutely headed down the wrong path.

  16. Courtesy is given, respect is earned. They don’t deserve respect just because they are your parents. If anything they should apologize to you.

  17. The onus is not on you. She is the one who needs to make the effort. Chore- play doesn’t work. You can’t negotiate desire. I would divorce. This doesn’t seem like a tenable situation for either of you. An emotional affair is likely enough to end this relationship. It is also likely that there is a physical relationship as well. Her motivations are suspect as well.

  18. You were sexually harassed and you need to report it.

  19. I’m a husband of a teacher. We are in Oregon. All grade school students get free breakfast and lunch here, for some of these kids it might be their only meal. Our local district has a summer free or reduced lunch program as well. I have eaten there a few times, as it is low cost and has a good salad bar. We also get snacks for my wife’s class. We can afford it, we are doing fine. What OP is describing is despicable behavior. They should be ashamed of themselves. Food waste is not a good way to run a kitchen. They should be encouraging children to eat and take more if they want to. I’m sorry that happened OP

  20. 23 years. There is a level of knowledge about each other that we have reached. We don’t need a ton of time to get each other off. We have a high school and middle schooler. Seems like they are needier now than when they were toddlers. My wife is a great mother and a very good wife.

  21. Tetris. Go play some Tetris. Helps with PTSD. I’m sorry you had to see that.

  22. I’m not entirely sure. I have seen some posts about Tetris being able to help with PTSD. I think it’s a study somewhere? I’m sure there is a Redditor somewhere that has a link.

  23. RED FLAGS!!! Distance yourself from this woman and her child. False accusations can ruin your life. Maybe you will be exonerated but the damage would already be complete. You are so lucky that they didn’t arrest you. Attempted kidnapping is serious

  24. Probably not possible but it really resembles redwood
