  1. Anyone contemplating a 'helmet tech' route is an idiot. I want to see a 'hero sessions' that works .

  2. Really? There is some things I would love to have or at least be able to integrate in to my helmet. Think something like a fighter jet screen in my helmet except showing directions in a HUD enabled shield. Which right now I have to mount my $1500 phone to the handlebars and hope like heck it doesn't break out of the mount.

  3. With GoPro's software, how do you plan to constantly refresh or force close the app while riding?

  4. Why would I need to refresh and what would I be refreshing or force closing?

  5. If you create an account in Enlighten, you'll get access to those tools and installation university.

  6. I did not know that. I personally hate registering to web sites so I will go back and look again and use my usual trash email account with fictitious name, address, and phone numbers.

  7. Why would you hide communication from a company you are spending thousands on and getting a long term warranty from?

  8. It isn’t like any of these companies have data breaches at all. /s

  9. Good luck with getting records corrected. I have seen in several places in my files where the shrinks have stated I have money problems. I am like how did you come up with that? Me knowing I have $100k setting in my brokerage account. I asked them to take that out of the file because it is not accurate. In addition to that I have been given vaccines according to my records. Which I have only received the Tetanus shot yet is shows I got some pneumonia vaccine. That is just a few of their mistakes there are many many more.

  10. A lot of new riders tend to drop their bikes at some point. It will be part of your learning experience. I would practice using the clutch and throttle for taking off. I would do Figure 8's in as tight as you can. Get used looking to where you want to go not on some object while your riding. If I recall correctly you have to make a tight turn think a turn about the size of a parking space width. There is also a few cones lined up on a line and you have to swerve between them with out hitting them.

  11. You can never know what the future holds. Personally I try to support the innovate not the Johnny come lately. Sure there are good products out there. But I also have a vested interest in GoPro since I own shares in the company. Which is a another topic all together.

  12. I am having my roof replaced and I want to do a 360 video of it being done. So I have a few questions listed below. They tell me they will have the roof replaced in 1 day. I already have the largest memory cards that the camera will take. I would like to use my Fusion 360.

  13. I am now going through this same thing. I decided to go with a 50year roof replacement. Tesla did not even offer A roof/solar deal. Thus we just canceled the solar for now because the roof was the same price as the solar panels. But the roof company said that the section where the solar panels are will not be covered under warranty.

  14. Or like the battery in your car sure it not running and it is just setting in the drive way not running but the car sound system is using power to keep track of time and the security systems and any other goodies it has added in to the system.

  15. If the overall wattage of the installation is greater, I would consider it a fair trade. The angry pixies don't really care if they are coming from a panel rated at 395W or 405W.

  16. I understand what you are saying. But lets think of this on a bigger scale. Sure it is just one customer but lets take that and multiply it by say 10 customers or 100 customers. It adds up for the company in money saved buying cheaper panels maybe its $20 savings per panel $20 x 20 panels is $400 savings on just one roof. $4000 on 10 roofs and $40000 on 100 roofs. That is a nice payday for the company by what is known as bate and switch.

  17. It really sounds terrible when you pull numbers out of your ass that happen to support your position and misrepresent the situation. If they're installing more panels, it costs them more money in labor and materials... it really isn't the windfall that you make it out to be. And its "bait" and switch not "bate" and switch.

  18. Your correct I just used numbers that I figured would be the price difference when in reality I found that it is actually a $50 difference between the 2 panels so over all the company saved $1000 and then bought 2 extra panels for $105 give or take a buck. So the company in this case gets to take home an extra $900 in profit give or take a few bucks.

  19. So I am set up to get Tesla Solar panels 8.1kW system they are stating an Allowable DC/AC Ratio 1.7. Which if everything I have read is correct that rate is a bad rate and needs to be around a 1.08-1.2?

  20. 8.1kW to 7.6kW is 1.07 DC/AC. Where is 1.7 coming from?

  21. I didnt understand the 25-33% comment, is it that the 8.1kW is only a quarter-third of your usage and the rest has to be from the grid? My understanding is (in FL) we have annual net metering and the summer months generate "more" than average and more or less evens out over a period of time.

  22. yes 8.1kW is only 25-33% of our total usage per month. During the summer it will probably be below 25% which is when we tend to use 5000kW+ a month. Nov - Feb is our lowest power usage and it falls around 2000kW.

  23. I used to be like you are now. Here is how I fixed my issues. #1) I don't put up with people bagging on me about anything. If they start I will politely tell them to leave and never come back. This is why I have no contact with any of my family any more. As far as her parents go just tell them if they feel the need to bag on you not to come around any more. Tell them that your grand kids may not be seeing them as much any more. As far as them knowing what you bring in... Well here is how I would say it... Not that its any of your business I bring in about x$ a month. You don't have to say how because its none of their business. Then a tell them if they have any further issues take up with god because your tired of hearing it.

  24. I had to go solar in SoCal, 42.5¢ and 52.5¢ a KW are the two tiers. So my house has an electric bill of around $1100 per month in the summer heat. Crazy and not a huge house, 2700sf single story. Good luck

  25. Wow, sounds like was it PG&E, that got hit with the damages of the fire that started? Guess they had to make it up somewhere.

  26. It has been my experience that back pain never gets better it just becomes more tolerable when you finally get over the fact that it is not going to get better.

  27. Brother, have you tried to get a lawyer or VSO??? You should be 100% and it’s a crime you’re not!!

  28. Yes after 30+ years of fighting it I finally hired a law firm to represent me. Finally I was rated 90%/TDIU with other things still in the system that are being worked out. The sad part of all of this is the money we get is of no importance to us. But the ChampVA will certainly help with my wife's medical bills in the future. Plus we get to increase our donations to the organizations we donate to.

  29. The only advantage is that you can use one of the 60 refills at a time and still gain energy as long as your total energy is not over 130. When you get the 8400 you will not gain any energy until it is below 130. If that does not bother you then go for the 8400.

  30. There are better power supplies. My opinion on power supplies is this. I would rather have a 1500W PS over even a 1000W power supplie. I have blown up to many power supplies that were in the 750 to 1000W. If you watch for a good brand PS you can get 1500W for $250 when on sale.

  31. We have purchased several homes using the VA home loans. We have also used a few different places for our VA loans. But the best for us has been hands down Rocket Mortgage. The last loan we did took less then 21 days from start to finish.

  32. What he is doing is rather tame. But reaction time to any sudden unexpected emergency could result in death. I say rather tame because I used to stand on my seat going down the road. Knock on wood I never had a fall. I would never do that now days at all.

  33. I switched oils in every vehicle I have ever owned including motorcycles. Since you are moving to a synthetic blend it should not be a problem. The problems that can occur are typically when you are a quart low and add a different oil then you have in it. This is also why you carry a quart of oil with you just in case.

  34. It all comes down to what your willing to pay. Because what you may deem a high price another could find it reasonable. Now if a month goes by and its still for sale chances are the seller is asking to much try to dicker to a price you can live with.

  35. We retired and moved out of Texas......but....here is what I remembered. So, the taxes are assessed at the end of the year....possibly November. The lender has nothing to do with assessing property taxes. Their job is to calculate (based on your counties tax assessment in March/April) and collect them in your impound account. At the end of the year, they get an invoice from your county and pay your taxes out of that impound account. Any left over is sent to you (by law) or send you a notice that you were short (you owe bill).

  36. Ta add to this, Because my 100% was assigned to start in 2023 they told us to file the paperwork as a late file or something like that as she made it sound like the late file of 2023 taxes would wipe out the 2023 tax bill that had already been paid by our lender. One could hope they would reimburse the tax collected but I am not holding my breath waiting to find out.
