The neck should have a slight bow to it under tensioned strings, so that the frets closer to the sound hole sit slightly lower than the frets closer to the headstock. It can be okay for the neck to be slightly back bowed when not tensioned, but how much is acceptable varies depending on the type of wood the neck is made out of and the type of strings used on the instrument. For instance a cedar (soft) neck with nylon (light) strings will move differently than a maple (stiff) neck with steel (heavy) strings or a maple (stiff) neck with nylon (soft) strings.

There is also a neck that applies your spellcasting mod (cha) to cantrips if they deal elemental damage. If you use lightning charges you can deal a small amount of lightning damage with eldritch blast, which triggers the effect.
pretty sure both of these Sorloc builds are no longer viable with one of the latest patches. lightning charges don't benefit from bonuses anymore. Also the bug that was causing Agonizing blast to trigger on hexes and other damage sources has also been patched. Each blast now only gets the benefit of one agonizing blast bonus.
A long strip of surgical rubber is what I use to fix headstocks. Wrap it very tightly around the joint many times, the compression force is extremely even and takes the exact shape of the joint. Each layer multiplies the clamping force, like looping the same rubber band over your finger repeatedly.
I just buy powder on Amazon. A $30 thing lasts me about a month. Just drop a scoop in my water bottle every morning before I get out of the car and I'm good to go. If it's super hot that day I have one after work too sometimes.
My fixed rate plan lapsed for like 5 days last month during the 6000% spike and my normal $50-70 power bill (tiny garage apartment) was $392. I didn't even get hit by the 20,000% spike.
Have someone create water while the main character is in dialogue, or throw a water barrel with your barb, or use chromatic orb lighning to create an electrified water surface, or use almost any ice spell and follow it up with a fire spell.
There is also a ring that adds your spellcasting modifier to elemental cantrips, which is no good for eldritch blast, but robes+ring make sorc fire bolt go brr
For someone that’s never played DnD, but thinks it’s a cool concept, is the game pretty easy to pick up and play? I’ve watched some streams on Twitch and it seems like its mechanics are very complex, which has made me nervous to buy it. Curious how another person new to DnD feels about it!
It reminds me of Dragon Age: Origins more than any other non-Larian game. It's like playing that, but set in a much larger world and a lot more room for creativity.
I played WM for like 30 hours, and while I loved it from an RP standpoint, the list of things is only like 4-5 long it seems as opposed to 100 in 5e, and it almost never seems to proc.
Issues I have with my werebear druid:
You can get 1s of I-frames from roar, which makes the class way way tankier once you get good CDR. I get like 1s of complete immunity every 3s.

They aren't immune, they are harder to hit with turn undead. You'll turn like half of them instead of all of them if you cast it.

I think a good, general focus for a patch would be toning down some of the more absurd punishments for failed checks.
