  1. How is this so far down? Works on multiple levels, predicts the future, subtle and blatant parody, and helping define culture for multiple generations. Not just the best cartoon but one of the greatest shows of all time

  2. I tried. Is there an other secret? We speak about 33lbs to 45lbs heavier opponents.

  3. The secret is to grab their belt at the knot and stiff arm into their belly. Then scissor your legs and come up while grabbing their near ankle.

  4. The default is to push the knee and shrimp. I find this sets you for an armbar when they dive for that underhook. As a smaller roller myself (5'7, 160lbs) I reach up for their belt and drive forward, staying heavy with pressure, shrug off their leg into side control or get back to a neutral position. If they have a great base, push them forward, then bring them back. It works for me almost every time.

  5. I use knee on belly all the time and grabbing the belt and driving is the only escape the is constantly effective. I can't count how many arms I collect when someone tries to push the knee.

  6. It's easy for adults to forget that a lot of views for things they like also come from kids. Andor is amazing but appeals to adults mostly and would not have the same appeal to children. It's dialogue heavy, has complex concepts about fascism and lacks the instantly gratifying Force powers and lightsaber duals. Star wars has been so popular for it's mass appeal and Andor is more of a niche show within that mass market

  7. Hands down my favorite Arnold quotes are from this movie. "Hey you! Hey Christmas Tree!"

  8. Saving Silverman. Jack Black and Steve Zahn we're an awesome 1, 2 punch and it was the right kind of ridiculous for me. Comin' a yeah ha!

  9. I started reading the series to my son at 3 and he made it to book 6 but stopped reading #7 because it was too scary. If it makes her happy enjoy them together! It has some of my favorite times reading with my son.

  10. I had a friend since elementary school who lived around the corner from me. We became close and shared everything. In my senior yearbook she attached an 8 page handmade confession of her love for me with pictures and handmade decorations of our time together. I thought she was just sharing how much she appreciated our friendship.

  11. Having two kids is amazing! Watching them interact and help each other learn is a plus. But it's also nice having different personalities in the family and getting to bond in different ways with each of them.

  12. I recommend working on connecting movements and anticipating opponents reactions to what you are doing. The biggest difference I see in purple and blue belts is being able to execute a game plan on everyone regardless of their level.
