Overheating
- By - Silvermain36
So im currently making a transition from one clip to another. I used a solid layer to create the saber effect. I cant find a way to get rid of the black part and make it just a hole. So I could have my next clip footage instead. I suppose I could just darken the next clip so it works better. but yea

Trying to find a YouTube tutorial on how to make more interesting transitions. I’m trying to make something where my walk through a door, but the door is like a portal into my next clip. Not very good at explaining but I found a YouTube video with the effect in. I just can’t recreate it

I know this an old post. But I just bought the game. Are people still playing ? I cant seem to find anyone on 'social games'
It's this Thursday afternoon, I'm feeling positive :)
Ahh okay. Well goodluck!
I think my aldi store experience went very well, but I just received a rejection email. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise 🥲
Unfortunately I had the same. I thought everything went really well. I had store experience and everything. But then the email came through and it was so weird. Cause it felt like a massive waste of time doing all these interviews for nothing. It’s a shame. But definitely don’t give up. Everyone does talk about how hard it is to get a job there
For more context. When I uploaded this video as a test. YouTube told me the content loudness was perfect. But that's because it was using the loud spikes as the normal max volume. So the rest of the video was really quiet. Not sure how to combat this so that everything is always at a nice volume?
If you're holding certain mod items (a pickup gun, for example), it can cause the "e-wheel" to glitch like this. I run heavy mods, so I always e-wheel with empty hands.
Didn’t work. It’s also happening with my T wheel
The first thing to try is to exit the game and relaunch it completely.
Tried all that. Nothing fixed it
Download HWiNFO. Check temps on load.
Okay. I’ll have to try that.
How hot is overheating? You've done the basic physical inspection that all fans are spinning, right?
Yes they are all spinning. And in terms of how hot. I’m not sure. But the glass is almost too hot to touch and the plastic part of the case is not too bad at all
Wait. Isn’t the before supposed to be on the left?
I use GIMP, I am really satisfied with the results it provides, plus it is 100% free (you can check the results in my channel if you want to see it, it is linked to my reddit profile)
Do you use the free version or have the subscription?
Free, I wasn’t even aware there was a subscription
My bad. I was thinking of a different software. Thanks for the recommendation
It’s mainly stuff like drinks, grips, a belt and stuff like that. Also yeah, some people like to keep their stuff with them and not in a locker
Sure. If you post the labels that appear, i can get an idea as to which one should be the target if you still wish to proceed with this attempt. Good luck either way.

Yeah, thats bad news. I would assume that if you had games installed on the missing mount, it would be at least a few gbs big. The other partitions are system created partitions for windows os and too small to be what you are looking for. Looks like that drive is dead or now unformatted - data loss is likely.
Yeah. It’s unlucky. Any idea what caused this? Or is it just so old that it just couldn’t carry on?
What keyboard are you using? Is it wireless?
Wired Razer keyboard. I guess I’ll look into it
Did it solve your issue?
Nope. Think it might be my internet or my PC. It is pretty old now
Budget?
Roughly just over £2k
Thank you guys. I’ve fixed it now
Oh I’m sorry everyone. I made a stupid mistake. Fixed it now.
in the saber settings under composite, select transparent
It’s already transparent
It looks like you almost have it there, you just have to close your mask. If you connect point 1 and 4 it’ll become a subtraction which will essentially punch a whole through that footage. If you keyframe the mask to match the bridge as you move towards it, the hole will keep up. You may also have to mask around your view model to keep the transition clean, otherwise you will be cutting out the hands as well
Okay thank you. That helps a lot
