Wait. This post is actually so validating. I thought I was just dumb... and now I realize people talk to me like im dumb when im not and its extremely frustrating.
Idk if mine is funny or not but as a med student I need to know many, many things. And even though I can visualize certain things working, I can't think of the damn word. So when a doctor is asking me a question (called, pimping), I end up just describing it instead of saying the word.
Def have imposter syndrome, but I have come to the conclusion that Lupus should not deter me from doing what I love. Regardless, Main priority: patient safety.
Hello! I put steroids on it for a week and it seems to have lightened up... But I can't use steroids on it forever. I'm newly diagnosed so I'm not sure either! I would like to follow this post!

Ugh. I hate when this happens!!!!! Always seems to be when you need the energy the most that your body decides to tap out. It's extremely annoying!
I really appreciate your validation and sharing your experience.
Lol I presented Golytely as "goalie-tellie"... I'm surprised no one else died laughing bc as soon as the attending said it correctly... š³š³š³

Really blows my mind how anyone in medicine with lupus can remember all those words and conditions fr, I think about it often
