Actually, this assumes no price discovery and the price is being manipulated. MSM has something to twist and distort, MM and SHF have something they can point to while they proceed with gutting the stock as a "reason for price drop".

Someone was saying the 8-k shows a resignation, not a termination with cause. So maybe this was a well planned move that MSM is twisting to justify gutting the price, and maybe Furlong is about to move somewhere else under the GME umbrella. We won't know until we have more information.

Like I was saying in another comment, MSM is likely hiding or misrepresenting details to clobber Gamestop and try to cause a lot of knee-jerk reactions. Furlong and Cohen probably had this planned out and Furlong likely has a place to be with a nice departure with no bad blood. Maybe he will even be reallocated somewhere else under the GME umbrella. At this point our best bet is to take a breath and wait for more info to come out. You cannot put a puzzle together missing half the pieces.

Honestly there has to be a good business reason behind what is going on with Furlong. MSM will twist anything they can to clobber Gamestop, so they are likely hiding or misrepresenting details here. Things will clear up soon enough and we will be back to uncovering crime in the financial markets. There is going to be a lot of knee-jerk reactions coming out of this. Pause, take a breath, wait for more information to come out that way we can put the puzzle together accurately.
