  1. Not sure what kind of advice you're expecting... Only things you "need" are cleanser and sunscreen.

  2. Do you actually think this guy could be dangerous? If you have your doubts about why he's working with children, can you do a bit more to talk to his supervisors about it? It might be worth looking into the child protection regimen here. Religious institutions are notorious for shielding adults that should not be working with children. If you notice something untoward, then it's your responsibility to figure out if everyone is safe.

  3. The guy just gives me the creeps. Something about him just seems icky and other than once when I saw the other kid pull away from him I don’t have any other reason for my thoughts. I went back and forth with if I was going to say anything to the church leaders but decided against it because I really am just having a weird gut feeling and I could be way off. I decided I would just keep my kids away from him.

  4. I think you owe it to that kid who pulled away to do a little bit more than pretend you didn't see anything

  5. You need to give up the volunteering, for starters. You acknowledge that your life is full of too much stress, and this clearly isn't sustainable.

  6. That's not what you said though. You said "look people aren't mind readers" and said if OP said "yes" three times, then that's "on OP." Which is victim blaming. Only in your last sentence or two did you bring up legality.

  7. The first sentences are actually related to legality. But I'm not a lawyer, just a survivor of SA who lost her case in court

  8. I'm so sorry that happened to you, and you lost your case. That's truly unfortunate and the justice system is a tragedy who failed you and has failed so many others. That's exactly why I didn't report my SA.

  9. OP is going to be ok. There's a lot of balance in the comments she's getting. I just wanted to make it clear that saying no helps a legal case. But it's likely a moot point, so I think it's best we leave it here.

  10. Not sure if they are small but Q&A products are really affordable and really good

  11. Which ones do you like, and what skin type do you have? Been thinking about trying them

  12. I have combination skin. Currently use their vitamin c serum and have bought their niacinimide serum today

  13. I would personally stop using retinol a few days before the sun but that’s me, my face skin is extra sensitive. I would also avoid anything with Vitamin C. I use tinted sunscreen and it’s amazing, people mistake me for a high schooler all the time now only because I use sunscreen daily even if it’s cloudy out.

  14. Thanks. What’s special about tinted sunscreen? Never heard of it.

  15. Tinted sunscreen contains iron oxides which protect your skin against blue light from the sun. This is NOT the same as regular makeup. Only products with an SPF rating (and information about whether or not they're broad spectrum, to protect against UVA) will protect your skin from the sun.

  16. Oh vitamin C is very good to use with SPF, it can help to defend against sun damage because it's an antioxidant, so it mops up some free radicals created by sun damage

  17. On the website it says “impression” and I think if companies use terms like “impression” or “inspired by” etc they’re fine? At least that’s what I’ve noticed with a lot of perfume dupe companies eg Dossier, The Dupe Spot etc but yeah I’m not sure when it’s printed on the label? I have no idea what bum bum cream actually smells like but I can confirm Emerald Beauty’s version smells beautiful!

  18. I feel like "impression" makes the copyright infringement worse

  19. what would you recommend for sensitive oily skin? preferably one that won't sweat off easily due to medication side effects and suspected hyperhydrosis( excessive sweating from feet aside for the "normal " areas)

  20. I think you're promoting a really dangerous philosophy here. That last quotation is just evil. Skin cancers in skin of colour trend to present at more advanced stages because doctors are not very good at diagnosing it, and there are lower survival rates for people of colour compared with white people

  21. I referenced the study YOU posted that says the effect of sunscreen on skin cancer varies across demographics.

  22. The second citation I shared (it's cited in the first article but not the same as the first article):

  23. Yep, I started with Santander bikes too. The subscription is really good value. Lime and other dockless ones also have similar.

  24. Byoma is, they're pretty good (I like the hydrating serum). Also agree Inkey List is a good one. Paula's choice is cruelty free, and their BHA toner works very well for me. Purito is too. And Fenty Beauty. The Ordinary.

  25. Uhh Beauty of Joseon have snail extract in some products, not sure we can call that cruelty free!

  26. Tranexamic acid is supposed to reduce dark spots from spreading/forming, but there's not amazing evidence for it so it tends to be included alongside better researched ingredients. That seems like a pretty strong azelaic acid percentage but I'm sure the dosage they tell you to use is pretty small.

  27. Superdrug Me+ Mattifying SPF 50, it's amazing and no denat. alcohol!! Doesn't pill

  28. Lab Muffin Beauty Science warns against the "booster" drops because they'll give uneven (and unknown) SPF distribution, so it will be patchy on your face. I like the Superdrug Me+ Mattifying SPF 50. Contains ceramides which are soothing/care for skin barrier, and I've found it dries with no cast or oilyness. It's got no denatured alcohol, which is suuuuper hard to find in mattifying SPF

  29. I agree with other comments that everyone's skin is different, what works for one person might not for another. I also find the websites that "decode" skincare ingredients kind of extreme with labeling products safe or not. For me, the only real way to know is patch testing/trial and error (start with behind your ear or your neck).

  30. Yes! You just have to ask! I’ve done it for perfumes too, then use the samples when i travel haha

  31. Just tilt your face to the side and shake the toner bottle directly onto your skin

  32. It's not hygienic 😭 the spray is going to splash poop particles back onto the gun. Cannot.

  33. I have many personality traits that would make it hard to date me so I’m fine with settling like that atp

  34. Uncouth or dermatica for a combo of tret and hydroquinone . That’s usually gold standard for things like melasma . If you are on the combined pill sometimes that makes it worse too

  35. How did you hear about Uncouth? Looking on their website it seems like they've barely launched yet

  36. I've exposed my full breasts to my friends

  37. Nope, you're good, just be sure to use enough (roughly 1/3 of a teaspoon)

  38. Ohhhh I saw the most beautiful woman today. She was working the tills at a shop, and she had black curly hair in a ponytail (but it was like... PERFECTLY CURLED, and it looked SO SLEEK) and a side fringe, but she was rocking it. She was wearing plum lipstick and a bisexual pin and AHH WOMENNNN

  39. People wear BISEXUAL PINS!? it's become that easy now to tell who's who?!?

  40. it wasn't just a bisexual pin... IT WAS A CAT WITH THE BISEXUAL FLAG ON IT.

  41. I've had my bike stolen so many times... It hurts every time, don't leave your bike outside anywhere
