  1. Someone needs to add "It's A Hard Knock Life" over this

  2. The designs werent even that unfair of an advantage like damn. The community just likes to bitch

  3. No I dint think I am. What's your brother in laws name?

  4. Ask the folks at Gulf Coast Hobby in Spanish Fort. They may at least be able to point you in the right direction

  5. I'll call in and ask 'em today, though last time I'd checked they only pointed me to another game store, which is now since been shut down.

  6. Already see so many answers, love that you're concerned for your baby, of course asking reddit is (usually) fine and dandy, though if you have an avian vet nearby, I'd always take them there in tandem with asking for a check up just to be safe! W Bird Owner

  7. The closest vet specialised with birds is like 1,5h from my home so i always do everything i can before i have to take them there. Sadly my town has like 3 vets and all of them can help only with cats and dogs, i have 3 pet shops in my town too but all of them combined had like 2 shelves of things of parrots so i have to do/buy everything through internet😒

  8. Damn man, I can understand that, def try to be on high alert then especially since your vet is far away, hope your parrot friend lives a long and happy life though!

  9. What a sassy chungus holy shit, I love them

  10. Pennyshot* thank you, and to put it bluntly, "ya doin' it wrong!" Pennyshot is for thenfinest of Leroy's and the hardest of Jenkins! For Pennyshot to work you gotta be willing to get close enough to have tea with your enemy

  11. These stories bring me a lot of joy, true or not they're enjoyable!

  12. You hust, copy the link and paste it in the comment

  13. Awe poor baby, glad she's got a concerned care taker looking after her, hope she comes out alright op!

  14. It's fucking aweful that people can just "rescue" a bird it's clear that OP doesn't care for them as a family member, I've gone through and looked at their post history and some of the shit they've said regarding this poor creature, and it seems to me that this beautiful baby is more of a commodity to them. It's shameful and awful, I genuinely hope someone takes this parrot from her soon vefore the poor baby perishes due to neglect.

  15. Genuinely dont see an issue with headsmans old design, people should quit bitching about the color pallettes :v

  16. OMG THAT POOR BALD BABYYYYY! Give that poor thing some seeb, sorry I don't have an answer but I had to comment :< poor thiing

  17. I'd be putting that little shit up for adoption next day.

  18. Man, this is why most if not all raptors or a KOS for me. I need to see if there's a way I can kill em off without breaking too many laws.

  19. Did you even read OP's other comments? 200sqm house. This is a sleeper cage. They're let out of the cage for 12 hours minimum

  20. Got roflstomped by xXxS33BM4ST3RxXx

  21. Thanks yall, I do have a small handful of toys (working on getting more always) but he doesn't play with them much, I think he's more of a shoulder /music and tv kind of 'tiel

  22. Separation anxiety is real with birds.

  23. Probably the most helpful post here, thank you! I'll definitely start employing quick "Brb's" and phrases

  24. Understandable, but OP came here for help. This doesn't help anyone. But like others were saying, rewarding the bird when he's quiet or making gentle sounds can help. Teaching him that screaming is "ear ouch" can help as well. I did that with my lovebird! I also was able to help him communicate his needs by teaching him how to use an AAC app for those who cannot speak. Just edited the buttons to suit bird things like his favourite food, toys, and feelings like happy, mad, and love you. They scream. Not returning to the room when he screeches but instead as soon as he's stopped will do wonders. Showing them that you will always return is beneficial. Putting on bird videos like parrot TV livestream bird room channel helps them not be so lonely! Parrots, and birds in general, are loud. Maybe pigeons or doves are a better option

  25. I'm gonna try this, just waiting out the screaming and coming back after he stops. I'm perfectly okay with him being loud, like his flock calls and his gentler screeches are cute, I find them and his light chattering endearing, it's just when he's squeak screeching that it irks me, and it really only gets under my skin if sometjing else has been bothering me.

  26. Another reason why the elderly do not need to be on the road. They endsnger themselves and everyone else a good 60% of the time.

  27. 0/10. Worst event they've done. I literally didnt see a single fucking Pink Rathian
