[Rome] Dusty Baker said the Astros “projections” showed Jon Singleton was projected to hit .275 off Clay Holmes. Chas McCormick was .220, Baker said. Baker was worried about Holmes running the sinker in on McCormick, and said “that’s why we have Singleton up here” to take those ABs

People often multitask. Having to close everything down just to play a game for a bit is just one extra annoyance that makes it less appealing. It's not a dealbreaker on its own, but it doesnt help.
Basically all the hesitancy for me tbh. I dont mind the anticheat but i dont want it running 24/7, and i especially dont want to reboot just to play. Ill just stick to TFT on my ipad i guess lmfao
Yeah, I don't let steam or discord open on initialize, It doesn't make me mad to wait 20s for It to open, but reboot is so annoying...
Yea reboot is frustrating beyond belief lmfao rebooting when i would get ESEA updates would make me just not play csgo sometimes until later
If this is the last i see of Rick Grimes, i can be content. I will always have some what ifs from the main show, but ive stuck out years through this series and the closure of tonight is sombering, but fulfilling
The Ripped Speaker is super underrated btw. Use it over the Klone and it takes it from a nice subtle OD to a true southern rock over driven amp breakup without getting muddy.
I cant ever get my Ripped Speaker to work as intended. Amp never picks it up and its like it cuts all sound like turning on the tuner . Unless the rip is like perfect it just doesnt work. Idk if its something im doing or the pedal. I wanna like it but cant ever use it lol
The Rip knob is a bias control, so you're altering the voltage to the transistors. There's a "perfect" bias setting, where the transistor is getting the exact voltage it needs to operate normally. From that setting, adjust it slightly up or down to get weird with it. Lower will simulate a dying battery, and higher will cause the transistor to fail under the voltage and give you a gated, "velcro" fuzz tone. Going too far one way or the other will cut out the sound completely.
That helps a lot actually, i didnt know any of that frankly even after watching a few videos trying to figure it out. I guess knowing how pedals work on the insides help deduce some of that learning curve with different pedals. I’ll definitely have to give it a go again properly lol
Not the debarked Waffle House
Lofty goal is to write (and record) a song. Over the last year i played sparingly (but at least something!) and would like to dedicate more knowledge. Scales, notes on the board, etc. hoping finger dexterity comes along with it cause that and rhythm is my biggest weaknesses right now :(
Finding Smiths Bowman 1st auto is such a power move lmfao
I lucked out with that one. Finding his stuff is hard thanks to the catcher from the Dodgers
I can imagine! I never even considered he had one honestly. Sick collection. Need to get back into it one day
I asked ChatGPT to cut a Chris Sale promo in the style of Scott Steiner, based on his infamous math promo. This was the result. Basically, according to science, math, and artificial intelligence, the Braves have a 141 and 2/3 chance of winning the world series next year based on the Sale Supremacy Index.

I don’t like playing my favorite music because I physically can’t play metal or jazz. I can’t even play the Power Rangers theme and it’s my gateway song to metal/power metal.
Felt that. A lot of the metal stuff i love is way above my skillset, but ive compromised with some Sabbath lol! Those juicy power chords scratch an itch
This season went from low bronze to gold 3 so far. First ever big jump ive had. I think its a little fraudulent but ill take it lol
I've played a lot of Braum this season, and I'm not sure what they might do to buff. Right now he feels sorta like an enchanter tank. His roams don't feel super strong, and you definitely can't really solo people, your dmg is basically 0. But if you get a game where your shield can get a lot of value and you got a solid ADC, he feels very strong. I think the only buffs that could make sense for how he plays now would either be mana management, you can't really spam your kit in lane ATM without running out of juice fast. Or some power added to his ult, a longer knock up or a faster Ult. If they want to take Braum away from being so dependent on having allies at all times, more dmg from his auto attacks before passive proc would feel good, or having more inate tankyness so you can bait out fights better. Sometimes you get out in the river to lay down vision, you get jumped on, and your contribution to a winning fight is barely surviving and jumping out of the brawl. Which sorta feels lame, since really you'd like to be able to stay in the mix, using your shield to defend teammates and set up procs. But instead you burned everything just to survive and bail hoping you ate enough cool downs on the way out.
Could maybe offer a longer slow from his ult as well? Longer slow from q hits. Seems like thats more problematic than anything though. Youll probably see some sort of W buff and base stat increase more than anything
I looked at your profile and it looks ok for a support. I don’t know that this is the best rule of thumb, but if you have twice as many assists as deaths minus kills, that should mean generally that you added more gold to your team than you fed.
Awesome, thanks for the help! Ill keep that in mind.
Looking at the games, your kill participation is generally okay. It can be tough in solo q because the game is naturally not as coordinated when you are truly solo playing. It’s just randoms in there with you not buddies so coordinating when you should be where is much harder.
Thanks for the insight 👍 i do try to match with the jungler when hes bot side, so glad to hear thats in the realm of what i need to be doing lol
Awesome looks bro. Want something like this so bad to chug with but not sure my apartment neighbors would appreciate it lol
Haha I feel ya, definitely the loudest rig I’ve played through 🔥
Love that!! Put it to work 😛
Not a pedal but about to scoop up the Petrucci profile on Neural DSP for some chug.
Nice board 👍 i struggle to find a place that i like my dyna comp in the chain. Sometimes it makes everything sound too flat or just plain wonky. My sweet spot is probably just removing a lot of the filler in my chain too tbh.
I love the tape delay on it! Favorite delay setting at the moment
Love the reverse on it too. Adds some more depth especially with reverb added too. Awesome pedal and great boss enclosure too
according to setlist fm they played all of rescue and restore + carol of the bells, bloodletter, revival, composure and white washed
Love to see this revival is a fav from their new album. Been wanting to see rescue and restore forever and never thought theyd tour it cause theyve been vocal how hard it is lol
claiming Angel Perdomo off waivers is low-key fun. He got TJ a month ago so he’s just a pure flyer for 2025 and maybe he gets shunted off our roster next week, but he was pretty awesome in the majors with Pittsburgh this year and he’s not particularly old or anything.
Agreed. I didnt know he had TJ so that reeks, but that guy was lightning against us when we played the Bucs. Hope something comes of it tbh
it’s a timely reminder of how often you can get shots at pretty good relievers for basically free
Exactly, Yates and Nick Anderson are ones we saw just this year. Braves love playing that game especially recently. Makes me believe theyll stick with him too unless proven otherwise
I could see Nick Pivetta being a realistic trade target. I would be pretty comfortable with a playoff rotation of Fried, Strider, Pivetta and hopefully Charlie or another SP added if Charlie is done.
Love the Pivetta mention, never even considered him. Watching him in postseaason ‘21 in the extra innings game had me juiced just watching. Real fun and some of his struggles seem pretty gut wrenching sometimes
Yep. He refused to go more than one inning when the Padres were still alive for a (admittedly long-shot) playoff spot. That’s not a guy who gets clubhouse respect.
For what it’s worth, he fairly often (for a closer) would pitch more than 1 inning. Judging the state of that franchise from top down Im not sure id be wanting fire limited bullets for people who at least appear on the outside to not be very “selfless” themselves
Jack white and Toni iommi both had crazy hand injuries that were much more debilitating than small hands and they did pretty good
Anytime my mind starts creeping over i remember Iommi’s fake fingertips, jack black starting at exactly my age, list goes on. I dont play a lot but when i do its intentful and it helps to know that other people made lemonade out of limes👍
The vibes of Outkast night were unmatched via television and on site. Was a wonderful night
.
Its pretty funny how a manager who has practically only won since he took over is still disliked in some way tbh.
.
That compared with how he sticks to a plan that hes been doing since he got there with playing who he does and people getting upset as if hes the one throwing pitches too lol. Gotta talk some family members off the ledge sometimes while watching
Definitely didnt influence me, but reading after that Jack Black started learning at 23 definitely gives me encouragement daily since thats when ive started lol
Got that same stadium club auto out of a blaster a few months back. definitely my favorite pull of my short pack opening tenure lol
You like the starcaster? Great vid btw
