  1. Boy let me tell you about an even lower calorie alternative to the tried and true potato. I present to you, the mighty turnip! At .3 cal/gram versus the potatos ~.7 cal/gram and a slightly inferior texture (more zucchini feel)

  2. Any recipes youโ€™d be willing to share? Iโ€™m also dairy free and have been figuring out what recipes work.

  3. The Ninja Creami is is pretty forgiving with ingredients. I don't have specific ones I write down because it's really just putting a few puzzle pieces together. I'll point out dairy free options but this will kind of work for anything.

  4. Hmm could you ELI5 the root beer float for me please? I must be missing something because it hasnโ€™t turned out good at all each time. I tried adding a bit of cream cheese, also tried with xanthum and guar, no matter what it comes out basically a solid block of ice that doesnโ€™t get creamier than a slushy from 7/11 ๐Ÿ˜…

  5. Most of the root beer floats I've had in my life had just scoops of vanilla ice cream in them and they melted some, but I wouldn't say I blended them together in any way. Kind of just drank the mix of both for a strong vanilla root beer flavor and then ate the ice cream in it. Are you trying to make this into something that's more melted together? Have I been eating root beer floats wrong my whole life??? ๐Ÿ˜ƒ. It's certainly possible.

  6. Joseph's Bakery Flax, Oat Bran & Whole Wheat Pita Bread is what I use for a lunch portion of pizza. It's 60 calories. It works pretty well when I put in the air fryer to cook the pizza and is a good size for me.

  7. Is she part of every concert or only in La?

  8. Typically Lelia does the primary vocals on most shows for Jason.

  9. I can....sometimes. I wouldn't say I regret it, but sometimes it feels like I ate an actual brick afterwards.

  10. Something similar to a Nestles Crunch/Krackel bar. I tried a recipe from SeriousKeto to use protein balls that take up a ton of volume, but the calories were too high for me to make it repeatedly . With Gatsbys access to EPG, I'm convinced they'd make a much better version than I ever could. Plus the rice or protein balls used take up some of the volume from the chocolate space, making a greater opportunity to make it low calorie.

  11. I get that Ireland has a relatively small population (for some very bad historical reasons) but I've noticed Ireland gets shafted when it comes to concerts. It's kinda like the Mid-Atlantic seaboard area, or "flyover" country in the US. Shows happen, but usually at awkward times, and there might be one show for 3 whole states. Their current tour skips most of the east coast of the US.

  12. The Midnight was just on the East Coast in the Spring. I saw them in North Carolina.

  13. For volume, ease, calories, and taste, I typically make a shrimp stir with some kind of riced cauliflower.

  14. Usually around 130grams. I just treat shrimp as 1 calorie per gram cooked, but mine comes frozen with tails on. If I take about 200grams of shrimp frozen with tails on I get about that 130g on the plate.

  15. Is the old cursive "The Midnight" logo gone forever or is it a temporary style choice for the Heroes Album? I love the old logo!

  16. They work great for me. I even use them as a substitute for Italian dishes and it is close enough that I don't feel like I'm missing out.

  17. I'm the HLM in the relationship. But as the HL, it's hard not to think that weight is part of the problem when your LL partner doesn't want you.

  18. Having lost 35lbs of weight once in my life I know what an astronomical achievement losing 170lbs is. That is freaking awesome.

  19. Thank you! I'm my worst critic, so I sometimes forget its a big deal and I just shrug it off and focus on the next goal (which is to get under 200lbs).

  20. I simply don't understand how you can do this and not vomit and have diarrhea. This sounds horribly unfun.

  21. People do vomit. I did it in 2009 and there was a lot of vomit to avoid on the way back.

  22. I took my 12 year old daughter to see Chvrches this year. That had way more language that any of the 3 shows I've seen of the Midnight. And I have no regrets of taking her to see that.

  23. I love this episode. My absolutely laugh out loud funniest moment in Star Trek to me is when Crusher and Picard are the last 2 people left, and she asks him if it makes any sense to have this huge ship with no crew, the two of them exploring the galaxy alone. It's been year since I saw it, but he says something like "we never needed anyone else before". The delivery is amazing.

  24. Oddly enough, Tom Hanks is a huge Star Trek fan. Sometimes I wish we had Sci-fi Tom Hanks in Star Trek doing something.

  25. Not quite the same, but you've seen The Orville, right?

  26. Yes, I'm up to date on the Orville. What are you referring to on there?

  27. The X-Ray on Amazon Music has some interesting info. According to that, Jessie Frye is credited as a writer on this too. It's cool to see that collaboration there, I'm a fan of hers.

  28. You really shouldn't be having pity/duty sex at all. My wife is very LL, and she tried to fake her way through many sexual encounters, and eventually it got to the point where I took sex entirely off the table because I felt like I was raping her despite her telling me otherwise. And I care about her too much to do that to her.

  29. Lelia and Royce aren't wrong but I really don't think it is what you think it means.
