  1. I’m very interested in this movie because I have no idea where it’s going.

  2. They have been living safely in a vault for 28 years… but oh no… the water chip has failed. Someone must head outside to find a missing delivery that was supposed to arrive just before the end of the world…

  3. Foo fighters have been to Boston a lot of of times in the last few years, including 4 Fenway shows. There will be plenty of tickets with a venue that big coming up for resale as people’s summer plans change.

  4. It’s not a shirt I remember from the tour- but I only bought the black shirt with the colour and the shape logo on it.

  5. Looking at a trip to Europe in June at the moment. Out of burlington it’s 1600 minimum with stops in jfk, Chicago or dc- 10-12 hours travel.

  6. Boston is one of those cities that’s three hours away on the map and always four hours in practice

  7. That is fair. Always something slowly you down, whether it's a random single lane construction on 89, or traffic on 93.

  8. This subreddit is for .NET software development.

  9. Also- this installation isn’t .net. It’s c++. You could also try the windows sub Reddit.

  10. Brutal. I rented a gas auger when I did my fence and that thing kicked and bucked like crazy.

  11. I rented a one person one and it needed two people and we both had to be ready when it hit a rock. Next time I’m hiring an excavator.

  12. Are we talking about an album? Has to be Wasting Light

  13. Just wanted to say that up to and including phase 3, you can stay pretty local to your starting location- with maybe the exception being Al and oil- again it depends where you started. But with phase 4- it really turns into a global map game. This is where it pays to have a rail loop that goes around the map, to make it easier to add resources to your logistics network. Yes this is overwhelming at times- but this is also where the game gets really fun.

  14. To say thank you and leave. This is a stupid question that proves nothing about the ability of your candidate.

  15. So my PR is merged but still I don’t see a streak, my username in the local machine is correct that’s not an issue. Does the process takes time?

  16. it happens instantly. Note that your commits are counted from the day you committed, not the day the PR was merged. This may differ if you squash all the commits into one too - I believe this just counts as one commit.

  17. If I’m making commits for 2 days and on 3rd day it got merged what then?

  18. the commits show on the graph on the dates you committed. So I would expect commits on the graph on day 1 and 2 (Assuming your example is no commits on day 3, just the merge)

  19. As many have said- this isn’t the right move. However- there is a middle ground. Take one piece off the monolith- a piece that needs scale and make that a microservice. See how it works - run it for a few months and see if it’s worth it before transforming your entire project. There are plenty of hyper scale apps with microservices that communicate with a monolith!

  20. Microsoft only guarantees an SLA if it’s certain it can meet the next decimal point- so for example if they are going to offer 99.9%, they ensure the service can work at 99.99%.

  21. SLAs are not a guarantee and Microsoft of all companies should have made that very clear by now after their issues over the past several years.

  22. They are financially backed- so if they are breached msft does refund customers.

  23. 100%. If they try to put Han, chewie and R2 in here it just won’t work. But if they put random rebels we can customize, count be great!

  24. It sounds like the challenge is automated testing and an event happened that was pin pointed back to a linq statement. How are your testing practices there?

  25. Yes. I have just about all of the foos releases and this is one I struggled to get.

  26. Moving to a monorepo is probably an over-index - look for the middle ground - perhaps where the 40 projects are consolidated into 4-10 repos from the 40.

  27. Am I missing something here? How can you unload just the right item and not the filler item too? Trucks don't work like train, where you can explicitly tell them to unload a specific item at any given station. It's either all the cargo or nothing.

  28. Ahh- I may have forgotten that detail- sorry. It’s been 6 months since I did a run and I’m waiting for v1…

  29. You had my hopes up. I recently started a new save where I'm heavily relaying on trucks for small scale, local logistics and I thought that maybe I missed something new in Update 8 because I'd love to have the same freedom I have with train stations when it comes to loading and unloading.

  30. Sorry. I also only use trucks until I have trains and then rip them up. I just remembered it wrong. :(

  31. That's right. I wasn't sure of the order the singles were released.

  32. I think it was monkey wrench (seeing this on letterman is what got me into the band), everlong, and my hero. Walking after you was on an xfiles soundtrack and was a semi single too

  33. The X-Files version of Walking After You is different than the one on TC&TS .

  34. Correct - which is why I called it a 'semi-single'. Probably wrong descripter... :P

  35. What’s the red spot at the bottom? We saw that here in South Burlington too, is it a solar flare?

  36. Did you notice how it turned purple about half-way through totality too? very cool.
