  1. Professor is not even talking about Vedas. Bhaskacharya was a mathematician whether he formulated gravity or not, he had other achievements. Misleading title.

  2. It means the priestly class is central to the religion and merely scriptures alone aren't sufficient or independent.

  3. There's a reason why Arya Samaj isn't mainstream Hinduism and why mainstream Hindus don't like Arya Samaj, in the context of purely following Vedas of course.

  4. I was not talking about Arya samaj so bringing them to the conversation isn’t necessary. Dharma is not subjective, that which changes with situation and time or derived from perception isn’t Dharma. Here, give it a read.

  5. I am not talking about genetics/ethnicities/races here , as clarified above I was talking about Sanskrit autonym Arya and used it’s romanized form because the sentence was in English. Vedic texts clearly defined Dvijas = Aryas. And that’s not my picture it’s you looking at your mirror.

  6. Genes play important role in determining your personality. Every child is born with diverse ratios of the 3 Gunas and this can be considered the heredity factor which affects your temperament but just because you inherited certain genes that doesnt mean they translate directly into your phenotype , environment and experiences or simply said "karma" does impact your personality. That's why Manu says that If a man belonging to a certain varna doesn't follow his duties he is degraded to the status of Vratya and shall be outcasted until and unless he performs penance and starts following his duties again....Again Gunas are not genes but since both depend on (/are related to) body aka Prakriti so I used that analogy.

  7. Why should I read multiple publications of Rigveda samhita to understand the meaning of one Mantra when all of them uses the Bhashya of Sayanacharya ? Are you out of your mind ? Reading the same thing again and again won't change it's meaning. It is a clear sentence in Sanskrit that says that Arya is the follower of Vedic religion and Dasyu is not and EVEN YOUR IDOL MR SHRI SHRI 1000 TALAGERI AGREES ON THIS , why can't this simple thing get inside your pea sized brain.

  8. Since you have read them all , Oh sorry your Idol Mr. talageri has read them all and you just follow his verdict...Tell me where exactly Talageri said that Arya identity is not a religious one and how he came to this conclusion ?

  9. They didn't call themselves Kshatriyas, they don't want to be called Kshatriyas. They openly opposed the caste system which your brain-dead ancestors made.

  10. Our people have been here longer than Aryans, of whom only arrived after the IVC collapsed. That much is near fact. It's also generally academically agreed upon that Dravidians were either related to, or descended from IVC population/culture.

  11. Dravida is a clan of Vratya Kshatriyas i.e apostate Kshatriyas who stopped following Vedas. All south Indians are not Dravida when we are talking about this particular community.

  12. You’re right in that the word “Dravidian” comes from a (either telugu or tamil) group mentioned in the vedas, but are you saying the name “dravidian” or dravidians themselves shouldn’t be praised? For the former, the name Dravidian just caught on for describing South Indians, and I don’t think its origin matters anymore (like how people call us madrasi today). I’ll continue calling Dravidian language speakers Dravidians, as thats whats normal.

  13. Just because they were not revolutionaries doesn't mean they didn't fight for freedom. They just did that in their own ways. Even a peasant who walked Dandi March was a freedom fighter.

  14. Ambedkar didn't support the freedom movement and wanted British to continue their governance, happily worked under British Viceroy's Executive Council as Minister of Labour ....In what sense he was a "freedom fighter" ?

  15. Savarkar too didn't want Britishers to leave

  16. Vo thik pr hindu nam apna liya hai arya hindu ek he samjho ab kisko esa bole ge to 10 sawal kre ga

  17. Jab aap aise shabd ko apna lete ho jiski paribhasha har dusre vyakti ke liye alag ho toh ussey apko koi laabh nahi hone vaala... Jinhone Hindutva ki vicharadhara di unke liye bhi Hindu ka arth voh nahi tha jo aam vyakti samajhta hai...

  18. Vedo mai bhi hindu hai rambhadracharya ne kaha hai Jab ptrakar puch ta hai hindu jase shabd nhi tb jawab Diya hai

  19. Nahi hai Vedon mein...Kaha hai voh bata dijiye agar aapko pata ho toh....Veda , Smriti , Itihasa , Purana kahi pe bhi Hindu shabd nahi hai...Hindu shabd Sindhu ka Farsi roop hai aur pracheen Farsi pustakon aur shilalekhon mein milta hai....

  20. Finally showing their true face...BJP is yet another party which works for communities which are dominant in a region and are their potential vote banks and it can hang its own people for cheap politics.

  21. That's your ignorance towards your own religion. There were laws in past regarding what is fit to eat and what is not and just like Halal food which requires consecration by a Muslim , Brahmins consecrated the food for Aryas.

  22. On odd days, Islam is a backwards religion that focuses on Halal

  23. What are you talking about ? certifications for food is a modern concept and Islam adopted it so that it's traditions can survive in modern times and if Vedic tradition wants to survive it should do the same.

  24. Any paper on this which I can read ? Also go through the Yamnaya findings I linked in my previous comment.

  25. See the Wikipedia page of Bhimbetka. It cites the relevant sources.

  26. Hindu is just a synonym of the word Indian and this group of people have diverse set of beliefs ,often based on their own conscience and experiences rather than teachings of shastras.

  27. Type of Karma you do -> Type of Guna you get -> Karma -> Guna -> Karma -> Guna -> Karma ->- - - - - - Until Moksha.

  28. Average self loathing Hindu...Today you want to reject your identity and smritis , tomorrow you will reject Itihasas and then Vedas just like how your idol Savarkar did...

  29. You want Puranic explanation it seems but if you are also interested to find out about the transmigration of atman according to Vedic Dharma then the panchAgni vidya bhaga of Chandogya Upanishad has a detailed description.
