  1. He used that device for a couple of seasons. But this doesn't surprise me, it was during the Intel error, and it would have allowed Sheldon to use any OS he wanted.

  12. Wow, Lars Ulrich has really had a growth spurt. He was much shorter the last time I saw him.

  13. i'm trying to transfer to RIT and for regular mechanical engineering, they want around 3.5 with good grades in calculus, physics, etc but my major is mechanical engineering technology and they expect around 3.0 with good math skills, good lab-based class grades and some experience that shows that you're competent

  14. The Germans were really good at killing Russians.... But not good enough.....

  15. Wow. Sounds excessive. I'm all for encouraging strict formatting requirements and neatness of presentation, but only when it makes sense as a way to efficiently convey information to the intended audience. Maybe something along the lines of what you described could be reasonable for one assignment, with clear expectations at the outset, to give students practice at presenting their solution to a degree that a minimally-informed layperson may be able to digest it. But for every assignment to be like that? Ick.

  16. yeah, and the worst part is that she assumed we were going to do all of our math like that so we didn't even know that we had to do that until everyone in the class got 20-30% range on a basic homework assignment

  17. Ouch. Anytime I ever encountered a strict formatting policy, a checklist and examples of work were provided for students to view/study/follow.

  18. i requested one well into the semester and it ended up just being formulas and how to use them

  19. Why can’t you pump your own gas? I live in the UK and can’t get my head round this. Do you pay first or say how much you want? What happens if they put too much in?

  20. pumps shut off automatically when it goes to the set amount or detects a full tank

  22. i don't spend money on reddit but if i did i would give you an award for this comment...consider this comment an award

  23. bicycle mechanic, i worked a couple bike mechanic jobs as a teenager and I'll tell y'all right now, just about all of the fully grown adults in that business were assholes...do it as a kid job, not as a career
