In this instance and many others, the judge sees how much of a piece of sh!t the mom is and still allows her to receive child support, regardless of the amount. The better thing and the right thing to have done would have been to give the father sole custody of the child/children.
Custody and child support are separate matters. It's not about man v woman. Dads get child support from mothers all the time. If they share custody, then he gets credit for that. The mom will still get her income set at full time, at least minimum wage. If she used to have a job that made great money, it would likely be much higher. If she was a stay at home mom, she would still be able to make full-time minimum wage, thats the law. Dad will get credit for insurance payments and how much time the child spends with him. The child or children deserve stability. Each parent has to contribute to their needs being met. This is not real. You're pissed about something you clearly don't understand, and they exploited your emotions over some fake ass shit.
