I’ve been eyeing that bikini top for a while. I don’t know if I’d ever have the confidence to wear it public (I’m a little chubby with small boobs). But i really want to see what I’d look like with cleavage!
I didn't get cleavage from the bikini (I'm super small) but I don't look 'flat' like I do in most swimsuits. So I would say depending on what size you are, don't get it thinking you're going to look like you have huge boobs. For me it's more just that I'm not as self conscious about what I look like, which I consider a huge win.
Have you tried already to lean into your R-ness? Seems counterproductive but normally if you have a lot of yin or yang, it's when you lean into what you are trying to hide that the strongest you comes out. I am 5"1, got carded well into my mid-twenties, have been treated like a small little thing a lot. The more I tried to dress myself to get away from it (with "edgy" or basic clothing) the more like a child I looked. Now that I start to understand my accomodations and the yin/yang concept, the more I lean into them the more I look "adult".
Daenerys Targaryen is such a good example of this. She looks way more fierce in earlier seasons when she dresses in a softer, more traditionally ‘feminine’ way than in later seasons when they dress her in more Yang clothes.
Are you starting first year? If so, are you going into one of the Colleges? That is by far the best way to meet new people if you're just starting out.
Yeah I would say besides colleges which are obviously the best way to make friends, clubs are the best way to meet new people as a first year. I found that as a fresher most of my original friends came from halls, then over my first two years I met more of my friends through clubs.
I can try clubs and stuff, but it just feels really hard to do something like that. It's not hard as in joining but just the social pressure, my face burning from fear, and the thought of eyes being pierced through my body.
I’m going to be honest, if you want to make friends in a completely new place you’re going to have to step out of your comfort zone by the sound of things. People will come up and say hello but if you want to make actual connections you need to put in some effort, go to things, etc. I know it sounds scary but I promise most people at Otago Uni, especially first years, are keen to make friends. If you have severe social anxiety that stops you from talking to new people or going to events, it’s probably something to go and get professional help for.
I'd be chill to be approached at the gym, but not while I'm like mid set or something. Also I feel like you can kinda read the person a bit, like some women go with headphones on, don't really make eye contact with anyone, and that's a pretty clear sign that they don't want to talk to anyone. If someone makes eye contact, smiles or something, they might be more open. I'm a pretty extraverted person though, so I guess the key thing is just to read the person, and if a woman says no, don't push it.
GUTS, definitely. I think Sour is great for a debut and love most of the songs, especially after to listening to it quite a bit, but GUTS is just exactly my type of music. I remember listening to it for the first time and thinking wow, this is perfect.
Rachel Zegler. Sure she said a couple of slightly annoying things but she was like 20 at the time and getting used to fame, most young people say much more stupid things than she did.
