  1. Hi! I know residents from CLMMRH. I heard their ENT residency is good esp the consultants and residents. No bullying in that department daw. The workload is relatively less compared to other departments but still kinda toxic kasi regional hospital

  2. Hello OP, just to clarify my experience on this, I've had major dental problems all my life due to abuse, neglect, poor mental health, and genetics. Basically, my mouth was spoken for long before I ever actually started and treatment.

  3. I really appreciate this. What you said has helped me in coming into terms with my teeth and how i should be dealing with it. Thank you for reminding me that im not alone and there’s so much more to life than losing teeth. If I may ask, how old are you?

  4. I just turned 30 on August 8th. I spent my birthday in a lot of pain while on vacation due to my teeth. Never letting that happen again. If you can fix something, don't wait. I did and I'm paying for it pretty good. Both financially and physically. I wish i had taken money and done something when I had it. Now I'm having to wait almost 2 months to get several teeth out and can't go back to work until then. It sucks but is my own fault for letting my phobia and other things get in the way.

  5. Belated happy birthday! Lesson learned for us 😂 Praying it’ll be better for you.

  6. NAD I had permanent crowns for 17 years. They never once fell off or got lose. They cement them on there pretty well. I only replaced them due to gum recession. Nothing to be afraid of. It's a common procedure that most dentists have a lot of experience with.

  7. They were metal fused to porcelain but I don't recommend them for esthetic reasons. My new crowns are Emax and look like real teeth. NAD.

  8. You will suffer enough during and after the procedure, and you will suffer enough putting all that money back into your savings.

  9. Thank you for sharing. I realized it’s been a habit of mine to make myself suffer twice. I will be reading this.

  10. Medical intern here. Please change your diet and stick to gluten-free diet. There are a lot of recipes on the internet and some dietitians and functional medicine doctors on youtube who talk about what to eat when you are intolerant to gluten. That’s not customized to your needs of course since it is not a one on one consultation but it can definitely help you in some way.

  11. Thank you! So I did that. Last night had my first gluten free meal, and I felt fine afterwards. It was so odd. I was waiting to feel painfully bloated and lethargic…. But nothing happened. I was so surprised. I feel good this morning too. As odd as it sounds. I don’t know how fast the body responds to food but I feel SO much better. It’s weird but a good weird if that makes sense

  12. NAD (medical intern)Hi! You could just have hypersomnolence but it Could be hormonal imbalance, anemia or thyroid problems. There are so many possibilities, blood tests (For cbc, thyroid hormones etc) can help eliminate other probable conditions and get you a better picture of your current state.

  13. Im not a fan of the contrast inversion to help identify pathosis.

  14. Hi, medical intern here! Your doctor might just take your EKG, 2d echo and give you meds depending on the cause. A blood test might also be requested. Sometimes, people who are anemic have increased heart rate. If this is the case, iron supplements can be given (if it is iron deficiency anemia).

  15. thanks that’s really helpful! so aside from the blood test, would i be experiencing anything painful?

  16. Medical intern here. It seems you have TMJ disorder. Go to an ENT who specializes in TMJ disorder. There are also dentists trained to treat TMJD.

  17. I think you need root canals on both. Looks like the decay is touching the nerve in both teeth.

  18. Seconded. That's a massive cavity in that premolar. Wait any longer and they're going to talk to you about pulling it because it'll become unfixable.

  19. Hi im about to take the medical boards and i have adhd. What did you do to study despite your condition? Tips? Thank you!!

  20. Medical intern here. If antibiotics dont work, It can be rhinitis. It usually causes post nasal drip which results in coughing. Go to an allergologist. You might need ICS and antihistamine.

  21. It could be fungal or bacterial infection. An ointment might be prescribed. Go to a doctor

  22. I had a root canal about 12 years ago (no crown) and haven't had any problems with it... the tooth is still there!

  23. I just had one today at noon. The numbness has worn off, and I feel okay, mostly. But then again, I didn't really have much pain prior to the procedure. I was prescribed ibuprofen for two days. I may just take one tonight, because I am afraid of my tooth throbbing once I lay down.

  24. Yes bro my gastroenterologist prescribed me this
