  1. I feel like she’s Morrissey-esque in that her old work is fairly progressive, but there’s no way she’d be able to duplicate those themes now. I think the real indicator of something about her being off was one of the early mystery books she wrote under the pen-name Robert Gailbrath. It was pretty problematic, especially towards women who are involved with celeb-culture/influencers.

  2. It feels like every year there is at least one game that draws in a huge amount of hype from all sorts of gamers. And every year, at least in recent times, if it doesn’t make the chuds happy they kick, scream, and make grifty videos about it. As a minor fan of DD, I’m sorry the chud-meltdown of 2024 is happening to your community’s game.

  3. Xenogears is a pretty good game, but the story is awful. I played it not too long ago, in my mid-twenties, and it’s not a good narrative at all. It goes off the rails pretty quickly too. Deus Ex Machinas show up everywhere, there are way too many characters that have no motivation, and too many granular details rely on “just because” as the reason for existing

  4. It's funny that a director like Verhoeven has a film where its satire is put into question so often. It's almost like picking a random Martin Scorsese movie and insisting there is no sex or violence, and the characters are all great people. Chuds will chud, I suppose.

  5. FF6 has a few during the World of Ruin section, especially if you're not the type to use a guide, etc.

  6. Based solely on story, I'd say 10 or 6. At this point, they both have stories that you've probably seen before, but they're pulled off well despite their flaws. 4 and 9 are great games, ( I like both better than 10 ), but IMO they fumble their plots towards the end.

  7. The mainline Suikoden series has my favorite narrative and characters personally. Even the weaker games in that series have good characters and great narratives.

  8. Lmfao, what was John Roberts doing in Edison, NJ? So funny to see Super Saver and Roosevelt Park in a vid like this

  9. I love Doug, but how the fuck do you not go for that field goal. That fuck up shook them

  10. Jacksonville doesn't even exist. It is a paper town created by the people in Miami for tax reasons.

  11. I’m not even going to look into this, but I 100% believe it based on your comment alone. I’m Jacksonpilled.

  12. As someone who works at an Ivy in an unnamed admin-like position, tooooo many people out here waste their youths trying to impress some lightweight in the registrars office who can barely pronounce a name that has hint of ethnic-flavor. Tooo many.

  13. Hey there's one probable playoff team in that first game! ....somehow

  14. haha I have a lot of friends in Atlanta and have been to many games-the last one was Julio breaking the team record in receiving yardage their final season in the Georgia dome, and it was amazing.

  15. Richard Feynman was quite a misogynist, abusive to his ex-wife, and admitted to having a PUA-like mentality towards women. Not a lot of EQ with that one

  16. I talked up Detroit to my non-football watching friend on Tuesday. Sorry Lions fans. I’ll take the bullet for this one

  17. Y’all never heard of Neward? Often pronounced as “Nward”? Mayor used to be Cory Booder? Lolol

  18. I dunno why, but the Limp Bizkit - Rollin' just felt like addting salt in the wound

  19. WE’RE GOOD, WE’RE BAD, IT’S EXACTLY WHAT I WAS EXPECTING AND I’M STILL MAD. Y’ALL BETTER LET JULIO GET THAT RING

  20. Some old viral videos. They’re findable, kinda, but not in the same place that they were.
