  10. i bought a cheap chicken mask off of amazon, i used just some cheap acrylic paint to from the dollar store so it would stick better and not be as thick as regular paint, also used some fake blood from the dollar store too, filled some gaps with hot glue so the blood would stay in the mouth, i have some charcoal pencils as well so i lightly brushed them on the feathers, i think thats about it :) it wasnt hard at all it just took a long time to perfect it, about five hours probably ?

  11. A little late to the party, but I used to write a bunch of C++. Is it your first programming language?

  12. not a parent but a camp counsellor during the summer ! we do hikes which a lot of kids (i feel like more and more each year) are terrified of. its not a major hike, if anything its more of a steep trail walk. what helps (in most cases, i usually work with girls that are 6-9 so it may be different) is you fully explain what to expect during the hike and hold their hand through the process. tell them you have bandaids and stuff that will make them feel better in the small chance they will get hurt. almost all of the kids in grades kinder/first are very cautious of what they do and maybe it is just because of that age level where they begin thinking “i dont like when i get hurt so if i do get hurt this activity is automatically bad” (i assume its like things like behaviours around the playground, how to respect personal bubbles, and even covid regulations i think have a part in it too). small things like going on the swing, playing tag, not diving into the pool, etc. are genuinely little things that could be leading to a larger issue. i definitely encourage you to get him some help about that, of course some little tlc too :). hope this helps somewhat, overall he just seems like a little sensitive dude which thats nothing to worry about; its probably just his way of saying i care about you
