Epic owns Civilization. Aspyr is the porting company. The fix is taking too long. If we have to get refunds and buy on another platform, then so be it. Not that it matters, when I started playing this game, we had to load floppy disks to play. I’ve been loyal and I have a ton of money invested in this game. They have announced a potential fix and that’s good news (I guess). It took Aspyr/Epic way too long to fix the text glitch, so we’ll see how it goes.
I'm actually in the opposite camp. The books are good, but the translation is so horrible that I wish I would have just waited for the show. I feel like the show is going to be significantly better than the books for a Western reader. That's not to say the books are bad. They aren't, I just found them very hard to read.
