Regardless of your opinion here, we all have to agree that working your ass off on something just to hear fans say it was underwhelming has got to be a jab to the heart lol shitting on anything someone works hard on is always a dick move.
His set was opposite of working his ass off. He plays the same set , not even new mashup or remix. The set was him go up there and play a CH playlist on Spotify
This thread/argument is confusing me. Calvin Harris should absolutely be playing his music. If I saw him and didn't hear Feel So Close I'd be supremely disappointed. If your backup plan to CH is Svdden Death... you probably weren't going to enjoy his set regardless.
Not sustainable in the US and much of the world either. Jet Blue and spirit in the US are about to fold and there's been countless collapse of ULCC in Europe and Asia
wife's brother moved to vancouver for work and renting a 930sqft 2bed condo downtown with parking for around $3500 which i think is really cheap honestly
I disagree with your analysis. There is often a lot more risk for the higher income bracket. If you lose your job you can't just find a temp minimum wage job to make ends meet. EI is also caps out at a modest income level. The risk of not being able to find another job at a similar salary is much higher the more you make. It also usually takes a lot longer to find a new job. As your income increases having an emergency fund becomes ever more important.
Lots of places in Markham are hiring and desperate.. hiring full time and part time, all positions. You can walk into TNT at Woodbine/16 or McD's at 16/Leslie or Bayview/major mack or freshco/food basics at major mack btwn Leslie and Bayview and have your pick
Fast food or supermarket are all hiring in Markham. Huge signs everywhere, hiring all positions apply within at all th McD's and supermarkets around me (Bayvuew-warden Eglin mills to hwy 7)
It is honestly ridiculous that we have allowed our “Telecoms” this much freedom with zero oversight, accountability or even the appearance of competition.
What do you want them to do? They've given money to media companies including newspaper, fought with google/meta on payments for news articles on their site
Of course, you bring Indians that paid nothing for education and give them American jobs at half the price and corporations get a 50% discount on salaries and claim it's all thanks to immigration.
that's how it's supposed to work though? That's how american economy has managed to grow so much and keep inflation in check as well while productivity increases. It's what keeps US competitive
There's a reason it was their last car. The Solterra is a rebadged Toyota BZ4X which has an atrocious range and slow charging speeds. Believe Toyota and Subaru may share some blame for the most lackluster EV out there.
Thank you for breaking this down. I tried to explain this to people in the past and they didn’t want to accept that an ev can be significantly more economical when you consider the cost of electricity, compared to fuel; and the fact that the evs require a lot less maintenance than an ice car.
But if you include cost of depreciation, a pure EV is much more expensive to own. Hybrids with ICE engine like the bolt fare much better for depreciation
Part of the reason for this is that Tesla dropped prices dramatically last year, so all used EVs had to compete with that. I saw a lot of EVs in used car dealerships that couldn’t sell because suddenly new Teslas were cheaper than used ones. The dealerships or original owners are now in a tough spot, where the dealership might have to sell it at a loss, or the original owner might have to sell it for less than they owe on their loan.
Yup that’s not the case I can assure you. When Walmart turns you down with an automated message and you have experience in retail, landscaping, janitorial and media work. There should be no reason why I haven’t landed anything, if it is the case for me and so many others as well.
The low level retail places do. It's the franchisee that does the hiring eg for mcdonalds, they have hiring fairs monthly or so around me and they hire on the spot, they also have signs up everywhere to drop off resumes or email them to a gmail account.
Because people don't understand economic terms, no different than during covid when people had wildly misunderstood comments/statements from medical professionals
Talk about timing, saw his daughter working in a Chinese restaurant in Toronto as a busboy. I didn't notice or know of her until my companion showed me pic of her and her story. No clue he was such a huge Ahole to her

It's just he has minimal/no mashups or remix or energy . It's like a dude just plays a CH playlist on their phone on Spotify and calls it a set
It’s a pretty sketchy place now lol
Uhhh... What? Did you go back then drop zone was there? That was a sketchy place 😂
Why is it unsustainable in Canada only?
Not sustainable in the US and much of the world either. Jet Blue and spirit in the US are about to fold and there's been countless collapse of ULCC in Europe and Asia
In line with Via rail prices.
It's $434 cad roundtrip from Toronto to Halifax on their website for may 8-10. So it's quite a bit chraper
I don't disagree. But what if I told you that is a "deal" compared to what else I've seen.

Severance also is a lot more generous the higher up you go. One month per year worked plus bonus owed is pretty normal
Its very hard out there right now if you don't know someone

Meanwhile Toyota replaced the hideous CHR with the unbelievably bland Corolla Cross
Corolla cross is a great vehicle and amazing value with styling consistent with its purpose and what it is though
Did you not read this? Section before choosing to bold areas of significant concentration?

Maybe. But removing all of the optimism from Trek can't really be a good thing, either.
But new star trek is full of it still? From discovery to picard

Hertz was begging people to take Teslas last few times I was in Vancouver and people rather wait hours than take an EV
Please don't post junk blog BD on here, yes this sub has turned to basically garbage but it's not bad enough for BD yet

Terrible for people who've purchased as well

You go apply in person for those types of jobs. Store managers aren't sifting through corporate online for front line retail staff.
How old are you...?

Option 4, buy from the USA.
US cars are way more expensive and have been for many years
reminder that "Alphabet" killed Google's old slogan; "Don't be evil".
They have to follow laws of where they operate. India orders them to block it in India, they have to oblige
Its not about data. Its about the direct control on the only information feed for millions of Americans.
How's that any different than feeds targeting users on IG, FB or YT?
It's not you. all of Canada is like this, every generation. More than any other developed country, we are obsessed with owning real estate.
55% of household networth is in real estate in Canada. Do you have any source to backup your claim especially relative to other countries?
Your observations are not reality
Still a labor shortage according to the government. Better bring another million people, these jobs are not gonna fill themselves
Yup huge labor shortage, we need a lot more workers for sure but dumb people on Reddit don't understand basic economics
Another garbage "analysis" by BD blog ..come on leave that garage on the housing subreddits
