Nightgasm

  1. I went to U of I. There was a group of 5 Asian international students and a handful of black students…that’s it. The school has almost 12,000 students. Let’s say those 5 internationals and the football team adds up to 30, shit we will say 50. That’s .41% of the schools students. Even if we up that number in the hundreds it’s insignificant, just like this state policy

  2. You can just both use the same Audible account. It's what my wife and I do.

  3. QBs: Marino, Strock, Pennington, Fitzpatrick, Tannehill, Woodley, Fiedler, Mitchell, Tagovailoa, Moore, Henne, and a bunch of short timers who are pointless to mention.

  4. I think the Ready Player One movie was leagues better than the book.

  5. I had a hard time with the plot induced stupidity of the movie. For instance the first puzzle to be solved requires someone to go backwards and it supposedly took years for someone to figure that out when in reality that puzzle would have been solved in about 5 minutes if even that long. Every gamer in existence knows you go look around places other than where your directed to go because there will usually be cool things there.

  6. I got Lasik in 2001 when I was 30. I've since regressed somewhat but I still see far far far better than I did pre Lasik. I do wear glasses now for driving but otherwise still go without which was hard pre surgery. They told me pre surgery that I'd almost certainly need reading glasses within ten years due to Lasik but here I am 23 yrs later and read up close as well as ever.

  7. I had to talk with them via chat to get my $5. Which I have to do every single time as I never get the email. I'm opted into promotional emails and all that as I get multiple a day from from them promoting the daily deal or something else.

  8. I have taught in a high school for almost 20 years and phones are a huge issue for some teens. I have kids in some my classes that are so addicted to their phones that they have a meltdown like a toddler if you ask them to put them away.

  9. My friends daughter is this way. I saw it coming as she has been raised with an IPad as a babysitter since she was about 3 yrs old. Always looking at a screen. Now she is 13 and literally goes feral with screeching and violence if her phone is taken away for any amount of time. They are planning on a cruise and have already told the daughter they aren't buying the wifi package for her and the daughter is having anxiety meltdowns already over the prospect of a week without the internet.

  10. Kids communicate with their friends exponentially more via devices than previous generations. Would you let someone take your phone for a week?

  11. If I went on vacation as a kid I had no way to communicate with my friends at all that week. We didn't have phones.

  12. Criminal Justice is a "would you like fries with that" degree. Any degree is all that matters, what it's in is irrelevant but other degrees help you out when police work doesn't work out for you. A guy posted here last week that policing was his dream job but now a few years in he doesn't think he can do it anymore. 50% who get hired won't be police 5 years later.

  13. There are obviously racists here. There are racists in every state. The question is whether it's worse here or not. We obviously are over aware of Idaho incidents but likewise will be under aware of other states incidents.

  14. And meanwhile over the last few days six Mississippi police officers have received long prison sentences over their racist torture of two black men.

  15. They didn't realize it was my last shift as my technical last day was still a month away but I was burning vacation til then. As such I got away without doing one of those cringy final 10-42s over the radio where the people on duty then say goodbye.

  16. Midwest can call themselves what they want but I'll continue to call half of them east coasters and the rest mid Americans.

  17. Closer to the Atlantic than I am the Pacific yet I supposedly live in a west coast state.

  18. I read that 3 times and read OWL every time and was very confused for a minute.

  19. Live version in every case if applicable. I actually don't like the studio versions of a few of these but love the live versions.

  20. What I will now forever think of with Casey Kasem and long distance dedication is poor Snuggles the dog and the off mic meltdown Kasem had over it. NSFW as Kasem drops a few f bombs.

  21. Hard to say because I'm quite confident I have aphantasia. I'd never even heard of this or thought I was abnormal til a few years ago when I saw a discussion about books and I was amazed to discover people actually visualize what they are reading as I've never done this. Turns out I'm the oddball there.

  22. I haven't seen another person except my wife in 4 days. What are these teams you talk about. Retirement is bliss. Though I am about to venture out to the store where I'll have to see people. Ewwwww.

  23. Rod Stewart had to go the hospital to have his stomach pumped where they found semen from his whole band. Or something like that.

  24. Marilyn Mason removed ribs is so he could suck is own dick.

  25. There could be some aspects of academy that are online, my state for instance shifted the criminal law part from being at the academy to being done online at your home PD. You can't do much of the other stuff online like firearms, defensive tactics, etc.

  26. I'd avoid reserve and I think anyone who does it is crazy. You get all the liability with a fraction of the training and no pay.

  27. Easier to say who wouldn't be in prison of the main characters which is Monica and Tate. Of the secondary characters there is Carter.

  28. Something realistic that actually happens frequently like realizing the drunk driver you just stopped is an off duty cop.

  29. Tyreek publicly voiced that he wanted to retire after the 2025 season.

  30. Tyreek will need another contract for all the child support he is going to paying.

  31. Depends on the nature of the break, the actions taken during the break, and when it happens and how the officer responds to an attempt at helping him. I know an officer on my PD who via a combo of job and personal life stress attempted suicide. He sought help and spent a month in a clinic. Was able to come back to the job and he receives regular counseling.
