1. What are some LinkedIn or HubSpot courses that you recommend a marketing student to attain? what skills and certificates should I have? Thank you 😊

  2. It depends on what you want to do.

  3. I'm taking 3 classes currently. Honestly it's been brutal. I have went from averaging 14 to 18 hours of school work per week to more than 24. Two of my classes have a lot of reading.

  4. Hi Dissension89! If you don't mind, I would love to use that same tactic to get through 3 classes. Can you please send me that excel document?

  5. Hi! 🤗 I am a bit off topic but I have a question! Are you taking 3 classes? How is that going? I am a little nervous taking an additional class.

  6. HI!! I just finished my first round of 3 classes and doing my last term of 3 classes and I am done my bachelors !! I have two kids under 3 and work full time! As long as you balance your work it will Be fine!

  7. That is awesome 👏🏽 😎 thank you for sharing. I know it’s possible, but those discussion post are annoying. Lol!

  8. Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is Accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education. The same institution that accredited Harvard University. Just saying… 🙃

  9. You're welcome! :) I found this in a Facebook group for SNHU students. They make the online SNHU experience WORTTH it! Unlimited support, encouragement and tips!

  10. How is the HR career coming along? Are you happy with your degree?

  11. Hello I am a marketing major with a concentration in social media marketing & digital marketing . I was wondering other than Sophia Learning do you know where I could take the remaining business core courses because Sophia only offers accounting principles of finance and business law for the business core section. Thank you 😊

  12. Haha 😂 true but corporations still support the scam

  13. Awesome 🤩 👏🏽 😎 response ! Thank you very much for this informative comment

  14. I spoke with my advisor and they told me I can have 2 concentrations with my B.S. in Marketing. I chose Social Media Marketing as my 1st concentration, and Digital Marketing as my 2nd. When do you suggest I should start looking for internships? I am a junior right now. I completed all of my general Ed. I am currently starting my marketing courses with my business core.

  15. Thank you so much! I appreciate your insight 😃

  16. I know some people that faked their experience on their resume and got A social media management role and another marketing coordinator role. One even lied about their education. I dont recommend the lying part, but stretch the truth yakno. They are doing fine in their roles, once your in it and have a clear objective, the resources out there allow you to succeed. Will just have to work harder at first

  17. Did they get hired with staffing agencies? Did they have portfolios?

  18. I have a degree in Marketing Design with an emphasis on social media. Currently, my official title on paper is Social Media Specialist, but I'm the *only* person on the marketing team and don't report to anyone (so I'm basically the manager). From my own experiences, it's super laid back. Every day is different, I have the ability to be creative, and I get to wear several hats.

  19. Hi. I have a question for you. How did you get your foot in the door for your first poison straight out of college? Did you intern before you graduated? Thank you! 😊

  20. I didn't do any internships, but my first position out of college was working for a small local print shop as a graphic designer. I kind of took what I could get because I wanted experience in the field and needed something local. I was there for about 2 1/2 years then eventually landed a position as a Marketing Coordinator for a larger private company.

  21. Congratulations 🎉🍾🎈 that’s good to hear. Landing that first job is the most important.

  22. When I started the third week of class and received my grades.

  23. Hello. I just started with SNHU with 7 credits and I’m curious to know how quickly I can get my undergrad degree? Did you take 3 courses every 8 weeks? How many credits did you transfer into SNHU? Congratulations by the way! AWSOME accompaniment! 😃

  24. First off congratulations 🎈🍾🎊 for getting to the third term! Remember “Life isn’t about the destination it’s about the journey”

  25. Some of us work harder because an A is paid for by our employers where lower grades decrease the pay they reimburse you, so that’s major incentive to get As.

  26. So if I continue to get A’s I’ll be reimbursed is there a link that I can reference from 👩🏽‍🎓🎓SNHU📚📓 on this?

  27. You need to check with your employer and see if this is a benefit they offer. My employer offers a lot of benefits to further your education while employed.

  28. This may sound obvious but what do you want to do in the future?

  29. I want to travel, meeting different people from all walks of life. Offer creative solutions to companies.

  30. The majority of entry level jobs will be like that to a degree. Generalist/BP probably offers the greatest degree of unpredictability, but it’s the shitty end of HR.

  31. Dang it! Okay. Thanks for responding. I just wanted something interesting and different.
