  1. A sexual harrassing joke character is cringe, him being loyal to his classmates is everyone in this show.

  2. Just what would you have me do?! To me, your advice sounds like total capitulation to NT demands.

  3. My advice is the real world. All of world history things have been unfair and now we are dealt with an unfairness at birth. You can choose to be bitter until you die or you can make the most of it.

  4. NT demands are that I either become one of them or accept a life of menial labor and no achievement. Your advice seems to be unconditionally surrender and obey their demands. I haven't put a foot wrong, I've masked harder than you will ever know, played the cooperative, friendly employee again and again only to get robbed of the rewards I have earned through my hard work and persistance. People like you and a career coach I worked with would just have me submit and take some braindead job with no consequence or responsibility. I AM JUST AS CAPABLE AS ANY NT. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PRETEND TO BE ONE JUST TO HAVE THAT ACKNOWLEDGED!

  5. Sounds like more of a capitalism problem ngl. And yes, higher level jobs do require more social skills, specifically regarding your peers.

  6. Your statement is just ranked = better game, how about you say something that actually has an argument instead of chest beating on a call of duty subreddit. It is actually pathetic

  7. What better locations? What’s more of the same is that we keep doing ballistic missile tests in the pacific, and then shriek foul play when NK does the same thing a month later.

  8. Dude, NK is a rogue state that is against the countries most of us are from. OBVIOUSLY people are going to be upset over these kinds of tests because IT IS PROFITABLE. No one in government takes these tests as seriously as people on reddit.

  9. Do you think the United States informs NK of their missile testing trajectories? The United States murdered 20% of their entire country, and committed some of the worst war crimes in recorded history against them. It’s unreasonable to expect them to trust us on any question of security.

  10. Dude, who are you talking to? I don't defend the US. I KNOW they dont trust us, have you seen our history of coups?

  11. Dude, if you think making a 14 year old feel like he is being burned alive is not torture, and it’s just regular fight, I dunno what to tell you.

  12. You would do well to be more charitable, you can see that the writing has clear intent if you watch the characters and plot points. The rebuilds are not the original series and focus on very different subject matters.

  13. i can live with gullible, low-IQ people online thinking that about me

  14. Are you really lacking in any self awareness? How in the hell can you say low-IQ unironically, the level of cringe is so high that I can help but assume you are too psychopathic/too oblivious to not die from embarassment.

  15. Quit white knighting them for not SEARCHING for the kind of porn that they want. All kinds of porn exist and it isn't hard to find. They aren't limited to 1 porn site, any kind of loose restriction they've put on themselves is their own decision.

  16. This is the most reasonable answer I've seen so far. My only response would be that there is a reason for the player base not to trust them to patch it. When a game leaves early access, the implication is that the game at that point is finished. BG3 was "complete" when it existed early access, but with the numerous patches since then, the content left on the cutting room floor, it clearly was not finished. In my mind, that is a similar violation of the implicit contract.

  17. It feels like you are using the contract far more literally than deserved, this is a entirely abstract and subjective contract that most people are not even aware of. This studio was well known and the quality of Acts 1 and 2 cannot be understated. The humor alone is just so good that you can't help but love the game.

  18. Why are we taking a PhD’s perspective on physics with a grain of salt? Who’s perspective would you actually respect then?

  19. There are many people who have confliction opinions in every field, this is why consensus is important

  20. Only whales and dolphins have shown communication at all comparable to our own. The power of our language in comparison to, say, a prairie dog is that we can encapsulate basic concepts into neat packages in the form of words. This allows us to organize and build more complex concepts and logical statements that would be incredibly difficult or even impossible with a less sophisticated language.

  21. You encapsulated everything I wanted to say into a neat, articulate package. Thank you

  22. Acceptable has never been the word used for legality. The term is legal, not acceptable.

  23. Look man, I get the geopolitical aspects but the Ayatollah is a theocratic autocratic ghoul with supreme authority and he’s bug fuck crazy.

  24. That is absolutely fair and I do not disagree. I haven't dug too deep into the Ayatollah since I consider it to be separate from geopolitics (which matters more to me as a US citizen), but I was never under a positive impression.

  25. I completely disagree with that guy's shallow analysis. lran and its leadership have been a very stable and reasonable actor. One look at lraq and Libya explains the conservative leadership. The fact is that there's just a huge amount of anti lran propaganda so you can say whatever about it and people will believe it. And if you've followed lsraeIs genocide then you've noticed that they can do what seems like unlimited propaganda in the US. Almost entire media  gives them a platform with very little pushback to their talking points.

  26. The existence of propaganda does not negate the very real bad behaviors. Conservative governance and shit is nothing new but it is something I stand against.

  27. See what I notice is that if I try to shield, they dash in and melee, and if I swing they just get out of range. It doesn’t help that I rarely get any support from my team either

  28. You do both and bait them into swings. Yes, you can be outplayed but also got firestrike+charge to utilize.

  29. Yeah I know you CAN do that. I guess what I’m getting at is that it feels so much more difficult to outplay Venture as Rein than it does to outplay Rein as Venture. Pretty much the only tank that seems strong into venture is hog

  30. I dont disagree but want to soy over my hog getting the deserved spotlight of being the best counter to a new hero. He was my main for so many seasons in OW1

  31. Okay they do that in Korea sure, but most of their money is made OUTSIDE the country, they still have to innovate and outcompete every company on this earth to get to where they are. You are telling me there’s no bribery at all in western countries? What about all the lobbying that’s being done by different industries to keep them monopolistic? Literally the US Canada Australia all in engage in stuff like that, it’s just legalized.

  32. South Korea is significantly worse on it's population in regards to workers than most other countries. This is largely influenced by history and culture, but also the fact that not that long ago they were in a dictatorship. They haven't had time to formulate things such as a workers rights movement.

  33. Although the term didn't really see use back then, had a myspace account in 2006-2007 made "as a gift" to me for my birthday, went on it a fair bit. I did also have a youtube account (i think I had an account at least) back in 06/07. Born in '98 btw

  34. He's going to appeal regardless, and it's extremely important that he has the same right to an appeal as anyone else. He absolutely should have that right respected.

  35. Unfortunately, any kind of ideals the system may seek to acheive go out the window in this situation. I cannot stress enough that fucking up right now is not worth it. There are innumerable variables at play. Him appealing this isn't the issue, it is giving legitimacy to his arguments.

  36. Oh are you referring to the electoral equivalent of virtue signalling? Yeah, that does exist.

  37. This sounds like a horrible idea. Punish everyone because some people haven't learned not to stagger, while also making sure bad players DON'T learn to wait for their team.

  38. It isnt a issue, really. More good than bad, but yes you can lose by seconds, but so can the enemy. Unless you are already in the mindset of blaming the game for losing it feels fine.

  39. The only solution is two states with an arab army occupying the palestinian state for generations to enforce the peace tbqh.

  40. What makes this the only solution? It is a convenient way to continue the status quo. There are a lot more solutions possible, they just aren't as convenient for those who want aparteid. There are also one state solutions but the Israeli's do have reason to fear them being in their Democracy. Palestinians would of course have their own problems with suddenly living next door to former IDF soldiers that slaughtered their people.

  41. And there is nothing about this that can change? The current state of affairs is frozen.

  42. If there'll be some prayer flicking in this one, how about each missed flick does more damage than the last. If learning, you're not punished so much for missing the first 1-2 but if they're all missed (or somebody is trying to Soulsplit camp AFK) then 5-6 missed flicks down the line in that kill pretty much kill the player.

  43. It would also incentivize the use of defensive abilities like reflect and debilitate to survive more hits if necessary.

  44. Not a response to anything I said, but go off. I just said revolution and socialism as the global force is a necessity in socialism, believing anything else makes you NOT a socialist. In no version or ideology of socialism can there be a permanent peaceful coexistence between socialism and capitalism.

  45. Gravitational waves do come at the expense of the mass of objects, yes. E=mc2
