Tons of new and cool tools that release support only Linux and Mac, with the official way to run it on Windows being using WSL, especially in the k8s/ cloud world. And there are tons of blogs and examples being posted daily where the author is using a Mac machine. I've seen official demos of Microsoft and MS related tech being shown on a Macbook using the dotnet CLI.
Additionally, the performance comparisons aren't really fair. Not only is the hardware different (for example the PS5 uses "unified memory" so the CPU and GPU share RAM, amongst other things) but the software is wildly different. Every PS5 around the globe has the same hardware (inb4 a pro version is released), so software can be highly optimized for that hardware. Meanwhile, there are billions of hardware configurations available for PC, and an optimization for one may be slower on another configuration.
I can't tell you if you'll get a fine or not, but what I can say is this: EasyRide needs to be activated before you leave, I never get on a train or bus before activating it.

I used to play guard when people would circle up, and my rule was id try and be a human wall for smaller people (including men and women) I'm a big dude, so I don't mind. But if you try to get into the pit regardless of who you are, I'll move out of the way.

FWIW this gives you really low control over what the plugin can do, meaning it can basically do anything and everything, which can be problematic especially if you're running (untrusted) third party plugins.
Start building something. As a senior with 6 YOE you should catch up to the basics of C# (i.e properties, basic LINQ, tuples/ anonymous types and such) and it's syntax pretty quickly. So just build something, preferably something you already built in Java, to see how the C# ecosystem differs to Java. Don't be afraid to Google "C# equivalent of *Java thing here*".
It doesn't matter. Not using public static void Main, or any of the other patterns for the main method you can use, it's just syntactic sugar, meaning the compiler generates an appropriate main method for you. It's a personal choice/ (code) stylistic choice.
All top 4-piston brakes have more than enough power* so it really comes down to preference. I've ridden on Sram Code RSC, Magura MT5 and 7, Shimano Saint and am currently on TRP DHR Evo and my favorites are definitely the TRPs. Close to the "on/off" feeling of Shimano but without any of the hassle of inconsistent brake point, plus I can use my leftover Saint pads. Although I keep hearing incredible praise about the Hayes Dominion A4, and almost every local shop owner/ mechanic is riding with them.
If you're tech savvy (i.e know how to find and follow a guide), then there are a few cloud providers that offer (generous) free tiers. I've hosted a server on Oracle's free Arm compute instances to great success. Many also offer free credits for new users which should be enough to host a server on decently powerful hardware for a month.
It is proven that frequent 5-10 minute breaks increase productivity, which is why I usually go on smoke break with the smokers even though I don't smoke. Standing up, walking a few steps and some fresh air does wonders for me.
1800 is different, it was their first Anno game that had multiple large DLCs, so instead of moving on after release they continued development. IIRC they announced they were working on a new Anno game in 2022, so my guess is we won't see a new release before 2026

That's the UAC (User Account Control) dialog, it shows up if it's configured and if an application requests admin rights.

No, they have publicly stated that they won't be making any more non-cosmetic DLC.
