Millillion

  1. Thief can get close to that, except without the 2H sword. They can use melee staff though, which has a nice, martial feel.

  2. I just realized this today and tiptoed into WvW for the first time. Good gravy am I in trouble. It’s gonna take forever.

  3. If you're not at max participation yet, it gets faster.

  4. To get the previous elite specs, you can join an HP train in a previous expansion or play WvW for Proofs of Heroics that will complete hero challenges.

  5. I wish they were, though it's still been worthwhile for me to use expac purchase gems to supply a couple of characters with unlimited tools. Just used my SotO gems for a set for my primary farming character finally.

  6. Hmm the science of it all, though you would think it be hotter though

  7. With all the gaps between panels, the metal absorbing heat and conducting it to the nearby air might create a sort of air conditioning by heating the air next to the panels, making it rise, and thus drawing in more air through the open doorways on lower levels.

  8. Like what about the building themselfs? They protected from generating/ absorbing too much heat?

  9. It could keep itself cool if the airflow channeling is right.

  10. I think it's just a way to add more uses for gold to PvP and keep players from being overwhelmed by options when they start.

  11. If the glyph selections allow you pick whatever glyph you want, then it's these. The only other meaningful difference is the length of the gathering animation(s), and how that animation changes underwater.

  12. It's usually watchwork comes out on top, with volatile magic a close second (if not higher if you need the currency for anything else), and I think leatherworking is pretty good too, especially if you are farming in mid level (40-60) maps on iron and platinum. Things like leatherworker seem to scale to your (synced) level and not the node you are hitting. Bounty is pretty good for rare herb nodes, especially with a black lion booster.

  13. Yeah, I know watchwork and volatile are usually the best glyphs, but I'm wondering about the best tools.

  14. BoyC says:

Yeah I'm aware, didn't get around to it yet. You can just move it by changing the .css files in the TacO install. The #MenuHoverBox and #MenuButton items need to be changed, the box needs to have the size to acommodate the button and the left position of the button needs to change too.

  15. Neat, took a bit of digging since I had no idea what I was doing, but I got it moved to just below the game menu button, thanks.

  16. Maybe, but it isn't financially viable

  17. Neither is chasing away new players with broken, buggy, or just outdated maps.

  18. The New Player Experience was a disaster. They wiped out a lot of activities/hearts and butchered the beginning areas all in the idea of making them better for new players. They tried it once, hopefully never again. Starting a new character is painful now because of the missing content.

  19. And will continue to become even more painful year after year as more and more things break and are not fixed.

  20. I used to work in management at Lowe’s. They can’t retain employees (including managers) and their service is terrible because less than 20% of people on the floor have been there a full year. The best people they have are poached from Home Depot, and they don’t last because it’s apparent that Lowe’s doesn’t invest in their stores. Departments are grossly understaffed. It’s a complete shit show. Lowes uses a POS system from the 1980s (I’m serious, Google “Lowes Genesis” and you’ll see what I’m talking about). Customers are shocked when they see how outdated it is. As someone who actually cares about giving good service, it’s embarrassing.

  21. At least the local Lowe's here upgraded from Genesis last year.

  22. Depending on your class and build, the Legendary starter kit looks nice. It's a huge amount of gold value in one easy box, plus then you can either use or sell the resulting legendary.

  23. I have everything except for Gift of Exploration, but I really don’t want to map complete for a 3rd time :/

  24. At least it's way better now that we have mounts.

  25. I like them, but dislike how often they're used and how long some of them last.

  26. Unfortunately, GW2 is extremely damage-centric, especially in earlier content like dungeons and early fractals. If you're not dealing damage or at least providing insane utility in those, you're not really doing anything because healing and tanking simply aren't needed there except for maybe guiding new players.

  27. It kinda felt like he was killed off just because this is Guild Wars and we kill Mursaat here.

  28. But nobody is using AI for those things. They try to push it in the creative sphere, where nobody sane wants it.

  29. Because the old rune system was kinda bad and changing it is better for the overall health of the game.

  30. Damn that is good to know. I was really hoping you could pick from any gen1 legendary... bummer.

  31. Yeah, now that it's an option for most containers, previewing them is a good idea.

  32. I mean, you have 75 more days to get there.

  33. Potions of WvW Rewards and Potions of PvP Reward are no longer obtainable by players.

  34. Obsessively relaunching the game commences.

  35. While the instance itself is sweet and I liked the poetry of Aurene letting us and Caithe sit with her as long as we wanted until we were ready to leave and thus let her go, the deeper lore of her decision when compared to Elder Dragon and magic worldbuilding is a bit baffling.

  36. I mean, there was a whole major Charr character character arc about that.
