  1. Mario 3d World is a great one to play with her. Kirby and the Forgotten World too. Not too hard, and builds on what she learned in old school games.

  2. Hello everyone! My mom got offered a 2nd hand nintendo switch version 1 for about 7500 philippine pesos or 150$ is this a good deal or not?

  3. Seems good if everything's in decent condition. If the person doesn't turn change the account to your email, the digital games aren't really yours. And even if they do change the email address to yours, I hear you can contact Nintendo and say it was stolen and Nintendo will change the email back...

  4. I've not heard really any complaints of batteries doing harm. I hear a lot say the Anker ones are good.

  5. Just wanna play safe, got my eye on a few snap on ones which seem to be the highest on the convenient scores - either with the controller grips, or just snapping on above and below the screen

  6. I do try to stick with the more well-known brands and I've only seen no-name brand ones that snap on.

  7. Not sure if I’m the only one who this happened to but on January 25, 2023 I placed an order on Dell’s website for an Animal Crossing - New Horizons edition of the Nintendo Switch, which was priced at $79.99. Did anyone else’s order get cancelled?

  8. Dell honored a bundle mistake last November and everyone was surprised, but I can't find any mention of anything but cancellations for this price mistake.

  9. Modern games: Crosscode, Chained Echos, Eastward, Undertale. Classic games: Dragon Quest I, Romancing Saga 2 and 3. Dragon Quest I is surprisingly open world for an early 80s rpg (and no need to grind if you don't run from battles.) Try Golf Story sometime for something different.

  10. Is it worth getting if you have already played the old version?

  11. I think it's more fun for someone who hasn't played before. Portal was worth replaying on the Switch because I only played through it once. But with this I played through it a bunch, so I'm not sure I want to play again.

  12. It does seem like this has been a common complaint with the Switch version. No idea if it still applies, but did you see this:

  13. Sorry to sound like an idiot, but how exactly do you turn off the sound scape generator? I just made sure the tunebox wasn't playing and put it in the chest

  14. No idea. I bought the game when it was cheap at bestbuy, but it's in my backlog.

  15. Hey there! Just a friendly reminder of Rule 7 - No linking to hacks, dumps, emulators, or homebrew. This includes how-to guides, browser exploits, and amiibo / NFC manipulation. Discussions are fine, but you should not attempt to instruct or guide people to things. Thanks!

  18. My question keeps getting removed. So I'm posting it here as per a bots recommendation.

  19. Drift can still be an issue. That's why i didn't get a lite. Nintendo currently fixes out of warranty joycons with drift for free, but not the Lite. If you want to play with him, it's much easier with the OLED. You can share the joycons on the OLED where you can't with the Lite without buying extra controllers. You also can't play on TV with the Lite.

  21. Thanks for the reply. I’ve been reading that a lot of controllers suffer drift issues. Can I replace the sticks in the official controllers with better ones to prevent drift? I seen an article earlier today that a company called Gulikit is making one’s called hall sensing joysticks?

  22. I'm kinda waiting for some time to pass before I try the Gulikit hall ones. Their King Kong controller has had a lot of issues, so I don't want to be a beta tester for their first version of anything. There is nothing to detect mods to joycons.
