Did Paul not get stabbed twice? Because he doesn't take the one out of his shoulder until it's over. I guess my real question is which knife stab was used to kill feyd?
Feyd pushes the second knife towards Paul's face. Knife 1 is in Paul's hip. Paul then allows Feyd to stab him in the shoulder with knife 2, secretly removing knife 1 in the process and stabbing Feyd in the heart.
Yep, and this is the kind of shit I got tired of. At a certain point I realized...anyone that loved me, wouldn't make me pick between being a good daughter and being a good daughter-in-law or being a good parent to my child. My child's milestone shouldn't have to turn into a family drama that they decided to stoke. They turn every family event into a drama story where somebody is trying to "tear them down" or is "disrespecting them" somehow. I don't have time for it. Life is too short for this shit. They are reading way too much into everything. They are taking the spotlight OFF A 2 YEAR OLD for christ's sake. It's why I went no contact. Peace at any price is no peace at all.

Dune part 1 is a fantastic movie. It’s an incredible sci-fi series that impacted numerous other series including Star Wars and 40K. But its box office of 400mvs 165m before marketing isn’t a smash hit. Pacific rim did nearly the same and got a sequel made. That being Said Dennis Villanueva is a visionary film maker and Chalamet is 10x a bigger star today than just 3 years ago. Dune 2 is likely going to crush it next month.

I have. And I really liked it and she was great in it. I did finally see Poor Things, and while she and the other actors were great in it, I was kind of overwhelmed by the amount of sex scenes in it. I didn't hate the movie, but it just wasn't for me. I have been a bit fan of yorgos since dogtooth.
Bradley Ott essentially gets away with raping a child while he was a staff member at a group home for kids with sexual trauma, the owner of the facility, Jim Smidt, former mormon stake president, attempted to not report the incident to police until an "internal investigation" was completed
Damn, I live in post falls and had never heard of this. My cousin may have even worked at that facility for a couple months, before he left because it was too stressful. (It may have been a different place but he said it was a "center for troubled youth").
This is why I am trying to build up my physical media library up. I never want to have that experience happen to me. I wanted to watch the movie Midnight Run. I had never seen it before, but had heard almost universally good things about it. I could have "leased" it from amazon for $8, knowing they could pull it at anytime, or buy it for $15 on bluray and have it forever. I went with actually buying it.
Same, I teared up in the theater, only because I was holding back sobs and didn't want to be a mess in front of a bunch of strangers. What a devastating movie. I didn't know anything aside from it being a tragedy going in. If you don't know the story, go in blind. Great performances all around.
I've skipped 5, not because the movies suck, but because I haven't seen them, heard of them, like those movies, or there are better podcasts to listen too. I am late to the game on this pod, so I don't know all the movies they've done, but I can think of a lot of movies that should/could be covered, before some of the recent pods.
The acting, cinematography, and direction was great. I was with the movie aaaalmost till the end, but the last 15 minutes was too much for me. She was good in it though

They also dropped Dune 1 on HBO max day/date. In fall of 2020 when a lot of people still weren't going to theaters cuz of COVID.
