This is making ALOT of sense to me now. This is the only way they can get as many borrows as they needed without running up cost to borrow with wallstreet institutions. They can just print as many "gamestop" wrapped tokens for as many liabilities pop up that they would be required to fulfill, and bam, now you are unsqueezable. Except now this has changed. they may be very vulnerable, they are likely going to lose access to their ability to use these borrows in the coming crypto shitstorm as this all melts down. I feel like we are close to things unraveling.
And the wild thing is: the stock is 29% DRSād now, compared to 2 years ago when the tokens were created.
