  1. Duncan was the best player on the Spurs from his first day to his last, the only way you could think differently is if you’re only looking at stats and not actual impact

  2. He was most definitely not the best player in 2016, and debatably from 2012 onward

  3. Jokic for superstars. For role players, probably Klay, beyond that I've never liked FVV and Derrick White.

  4. Feels like anytime I watch them matchup he disappears. There was that one playoff game he entered halftime without a rebound. Those moral victories though!

  5. Why do all Denver fans just seem like the sorest fucking winners ever

  6. Not sure how that’s possible when Devin’s father was born in 1999.

  7. This is incorrect, Melvin Booker was born in 1972, hope this helps!

  8. Like I said to the other guy, no idea where you're getting this correlation. Booker's actually two years older than Luka! Hope this helps

  9. I feel like some of you don’t actually watch basketball because that’s literally exactly what happened. Embiid had a crazy stretch averaging like 37/13 on 70% TS while the Nuggets went like 4-10 and Jokic was playing well below his standards. I literally remember the night the betting odds flipped, it was when he hit that GW against Portland. I don’t even remember Perm being brought up till after the season

  10. Me when I allow someone to die because they were an asshole on the road:

  11. The difference between the U.S. and North Korea isn’t that North Korea has more bullshit propaganda. The U.S. has every flavor of bullshit propaganda you could possibly want, plus a million others that you’ve never even thought of before.

  12. The fact that you're getting shit on for pointing out the differences between freedom of speech between the US and the fucking DPRK is so funny. Tankies are the absolute worst

  13. This entire post reads as if it were a "wrong answers only" thread.

  14. Per the Global Food Security Index (UN developed and funded organization), the US ranks 3rd in the world in terms of quality and safety of their food products (2022 finding). Germany (the country mentioned in the post) is 18th; UK 29th; Spain 17th; France 6th; Italy 36th.

  15. i don't care about any of the statlines produced in this game what the actual FUCK were we doing at the end there.

  16. Your home commentators were overreacting to what was just objectively lucky offense

  17. Sports are so boom or bust nowadays. Yes, I totally get their frustration, but man the Clippers success since 2012 has been incredible considering their history

  18. Aren't the Lakers like 0-6 without D'Lo? Not an auto L but pretty close to it

  19. This question and the people responding are insane. Trae Young is averaging 26/10 this season and is a 3x All-Star. Yes he'd start

  20. You can be supportive of one minority group while discriminating against others. Wait until you meet racist gays.

  21. The computer AI is a big fan of Tim Duncan. It says us humans are underrating him.

  22. In what? Most analytics have him as a top 5 to 10 player of all time, which is roughly where most people put him anyway

  23. How would you represent it, then? Florida is banning the teaching of any LGBTQ+ history curriculum, several other states have made moves on outright banning HRT for all trans people (regardless of age), and many Republicans have called for the repeal of Obergefell v. Hodges. What else would you call it?

  24. Holy shit, Kyrie just needed to be in a red state all along.

  25. The fact that he’s only been quiet in Ohio and Texas makes so much sense

  26. CBB are 99% ass. The shittiest 16 seed possible would win it all with either of them

  27. The defense shitting the bed toward the end of the season really overshadowed how amazing that 2021 OSU offense was.

  28. In my opinion it's in the conversation for the best offense of all time. Stroud/Henderson/Olave/JSN/Wilson/Ruckert and the entire OLine is currently in the NFL. #1 scoring offense (45.7 PPG) and averaged 562 yards per game. A staggering 5 games (6 if you include 598 v. Maryland) of 600+ yards of offense, the "lowest" total was 458 v. Michigan. Just an absolute death machine

  29. Peoples expectations for Wemby are so fucking ridiculous jesus christ

  30. Not really. I think Wemby will have failed to live up to expectations if he doesn't up at least a top 30 all time player. 10 rebounds 4 blocks and 1 steal in 29 mpg while impacting the game in a good way (not the Hassan Whiteside way) as a rookie is insane to me

  31. Every once in a while a rookie has an insane season and people extrapolate their potential wayyyy too high. Blake Griffin seemed like he was a future MVP after his incredible All-Star rookie year, and it just didn't amount. Not saying that's case for everyone (Bird, TD both lived up to their insane hype after great rookie seasons), but it's not fair to expect Wemby to win five DPOY awards
