  1. Even if you WERE the doctor at the hospital, you’re not allowed to operate or treat family, it’s a conflict of interest. You buy that Scotty and say you bought it last month if found out, ditch the receipt in the garbage on the way out the door.

  2. And you remind the workers at the golf store that snitches get stitches.

  3. Now I’m going to have to rub sand in your eyes. I don’t know if they grade it but…coarse.

  4. Especially a neighbor with a riding mower. Knocking it down when it's super tall will take time, but a half dozen neighbors with rakes can clean up the mess pretty quickly. After that, buzzing down your grass along with their own every week is barely an inconvenience, let alone anything hard. (Source - have mowed neighbors' yards.)

  5. Hell barring that find a neighborhood kid and pay him like $10 an hour. We had a kid that would come do our back and front yard in an hour to an hour and a half and I’d give him $30. A hell of a lot cheaper than any yard service.

  6. Nice, glad to know there’s at least one thing off your plate!

  7. I’m thinking the white eyes on Wolverine’s mask might be expressive like Deadpool’s, which yeah, they would absolutely have to be at least CGI enhanced, if not fully CG.

  8. I’d imagine that’d be harder than Deadpool’s mask because they have to do part of Jackson’s face as well as the eyes in a separate way, but I imagine they still do it. Would be interesting to see that process.

  9. I've always wondered, is sour the opposite of sweet? I think bitter works better. I get the meaning, but feel bitter sweet is more contrasting than sweet and sour.

  10. In a strictly culinary sense, bitter is considered the opposite of sweet, not sour. Sour can bleed over into sweet in some contexts (sour apples, sour candy). Bitter never has sweet notes on its own, it has to be added.

  11. I’ve never eaten so much fettuccini Alfredo and drank so little water in my entire life

  12. Plus being financially stable and having a roommate are not mutually exclusive?

  13. It’s also totally possible he’s doing it more as a favor to bro, who’s younger and might not be as financially comfortable as OP and would need a roommate.

  14. I was there last month, it was empty and no visible scammers. Off season for the win, plus the 6 Nations was on so great atmosphere in the bars.

  15. I was there in March of last year on 3 day stretch of when it was raining and both the Coliseum and St. Peter’s Basilica were almost totally empty.

  16. “Last run Diver… Fuels looking low…”

  17. “I’ve got a little bit of extra democracy left in the tank”

  18. The implication that things might go wrong for her if she refuses to sleep with me. Not that things are going to go wrong for her, but she’s thinking that they will.

  19. It sounds like these women don’t want to sleep with you…

  20. He spit in his face and got smacked for it. The "assault" was justified from the beginning.

  21. Proof? I’ve seen this posted multiple times with zero evidence or follow up.

  22. From someone who works in animal rescue (you likely do also in some capacity,) this is amazing advice ❤️

  23. Not in any official capacity but my wife is a veterinarian and we’ve taken in our fair share of rescues for certain periods, including some abandoned newborn kittens and some newborn rabbits that were left in our backyard by mama. We’ve lost a few but have a pretty good track record overall lol

  24. You’d be surprised how recent of a development hearing and eye protection are for shooting, at least on a widespread level. Both my father and grandfather were hunters and shot regularly and have told me ear muffs and protective eyewear weren’t really a thing at all until the 70s and weren’t really in widespread use until the mid to late 80s at ranges and hunting clubs.

  25. That’s the stupidest shit I’ve ever heard. There’s absolutely underwear in space if you take underwear to space.

  26. George Lucas was huffing his own farts while writing most of the Star Wars movies. Dude needed someone to reel him in, even more than he already had tbh

  27. Honestly I do too, she looks like the Bene Gesserit reverend mother from Dune in the wedding dress lol

  28. lol I love how the list is a bunch of murderers… and Jay. 😂

  29. And even if we do, they're all probably gonna be the usual boxer briefs style.

  30. Is Kyle rocking navy or black this evening? Ah, maroon, a change up!

  31. You are approaching this as if Roman follows societal norms.

  32. Correct, I’m saying I could see why ROMAN would think she wants it to continue because they’ve had this little cat and mouse sexual energy for a while, not that that’s the truth or what a normal person would think.

  33. Dont think he tried to destroy her. He acted out because he was in grief and tried to be his father. Everyone who went against that got kicked out because Roman wanted to prove it.

  34. Roman definitely isn’t trying to destroy her, I honestly think he’s got a weird oedipus complex thing going with Gerri. Like the original commenter said, she’s the most maternal figure he’s ever had in his life and he’s got a weird sexual attraction to her. On Gerri’s side, she doesn’t do a lot to dispel that and I think she honestly kind of likes having that sort of power over one of the Roy children, if not an outright sexual attraction to Roman.

  35. We used to play this game with friends whenever we would meet up we would follow each other and see if the other notices. Its really hard to notice if someone is following you if you're not in a state of complete paranoia.

  36. My friends and I had something similar where we had this incredibly old Garmin GPS we used for road trips. No one could remember who actually bought it and with smart phones and most cars having it built in we didn’t need it. So we’d always try to sneak back to other buddies as a kind of prank. It got really in depth, to the point we’d follow each other to work and leave it stuck to the drivers side window.

  37. Nobody suggested that, but it perpetuates an unfair stereotype of "papuans = cannibals".

  38. By proportionality they practice cannibalism at a much higher rate than any other nation, and have done so historically. No one ever suggest every person in PNG practices cannibalism, they just do it at a much higher rate than other countries, even if it’s not actually terribly pervasive. It’s like the old joke. “I build a thousand ships and they don’t call me ‘John the Shipbuilder’. But I fuck one sheep…”

  39. Came here to say this. I used to ump at the HS level, yeah u gotta be strong in your convictions or else they'll eat you alive

  40. I was watching a clip from a former catcher the other day and he implies there’s a mix of guys who will stick to their guns no matter what and some others who will at least admit to the catcher they know they missed one.

  41. The thing is, they would hold massively more respect if they even occasionally admitted fault. Everyone’s human, we all fuck up. The fact that they double down and absolutely refuse to even consider that they may have made a mistake is what loses them such a huge amount of credit, which is what they seem to be so wanting.

  42. RIP Betty you would have loved costcos $1.50 hot dogs 💔

  43. Nothing will ever be funnier to me than the co-founder of Costco telling the current CEO he’d “fucking kill him” if he ever raised the price of the hot dog after he suggested it in a meeting. That’s a legitimate quote from a board meeting. My man is just that passionate about cheap glizzys

  44. My case on loss leaders was a toss up between their hot dogs and rotisserie chicken.

  45. It’s definitely the dogs but they make up for it by the people that come in to buy a hot dog but leave with a new TV, 12 rotisserie chickens and a new summer wardrobe.

  46. Pretty sure it’s not legal to do heroin or fentanyl anywhere but enforcement is the issue.

  47. There used to be/still are in some states free use sites where a person could go and take drugs if addicted in a safe, clean environment. I honestly think it’s the lesser evil. People will use drugs no matter what. Providing a clean, safe environment for them to do so will always bring down the amount of death and violence involved in drug use.
