  1. 27mpg highway with the AWD model is not what I would consider good on gas

  2. I bought a new CX-5 with AWD last year and I already have over 10k miles on it. Averaging 30-32mpg with about an 80/20 split of highway/city. I also drive 70-80mph when on the highway, I'm not exactly trying to eek out every last MPG either.

  3. I'm an air traffic controller. I've had many many jobs, and it's the only one where it doesn't seem like "work" to me. I lucked out.

  4. Virtual basics is like just shy of a month, Academy is about 2 months for Tower, 3 for En Route.

  5. Never ever been a Ford guy. The late 60's fastback Mustangs are the best looking ones, period. Not a fan of the '69 here at all, but I'd pick that '67 over quite a few GM models which is no easy thing to say for me.

  6. This isn't exactly what you're looking for, but I can't help but to share them in hopes you gain something from them like I have, especially if you've never heard them.

  7. Winter Assault, Dark Crusade, and Soulstorm are all technically mods of the base game. DC and SS have folders named 'DXP2' which is where that 'mod' content is. When a user mod is created, it needs the content folder and a text file that is a "module" type. The module file is kind of what instructs the game on how and what to load specifically. So, if this is for Soulstorm, in your SS directory, there is a DXP2 folder and a DXP2.module file. Running the game normally utilizes these. Running a mod, a differently named folder and module file would be used.

  8. Put a quart of 99% isopropyl alcohol into half a tank of gas and/or pull some timing advance out of it if you're able to do that. Thank me later.

  9. This is the best thing to happen all year. Thanks to whoever made this possible.

  10. That first picture is very very similar to one of the first bosses in the game Einhander for PS1. Kinda funny.

  11. Lol you've responded to and downvoted a post you have zero technical knowledge about the content of, which is not only obvious but you seem to be directly stating so. 😂

  12. Dude tried to point out your typos as if you were making shit up then went ahead and said "neglectable" instead of negligible. Lmao. Your username is appropriate for this exchange.

  13. Just set cars so that the lights are always on when the vehicle is running

  14. This is a terrible idea and there are plenty of good, real life scenarios in which a car is on and you would like the light to be off. Solving a problem because of stupid people by forcing every car to be a certain way is absolutely hell, please do not advocate for it.

  15. I'm not sure what you mean. Soulstorm is the last expansion for DoW 1, and has every race from that game series, so one could say that is the one to play to have a "unified" version of 1.

  16. This is easily changable and I've increased it myself for the custom mod I run with my friends (+400 max for req/power). I'm not sure if you have access to the files to edit them or want the FoK mod edited itself, but it is one file per faction, and I can even do it for you if you can't find something that fits the bill on ModDB.

  17. Let me check I am pretty sure I have access to the files. This is something I looked into a few years ago and remember looking into several of the files. Let me check the faction files and look on ModDB first. If I can't find anything on there I may reach back out for your help.

  18. Thanks for reminding me, OP, that I've been playing NSC mod so long I forgot that the Flagship is not in the base game. Ha! Point is, look into NSC 3 mod if you want that niche filled and then some.

  19. If I was locked out of my steam account today, I would happily re-buy every DoW 1 + 2 title and DLC for full price because I know I'm going to keep playing those games forever.

  20. There really is no point in "skipping" the Disorder campaign in WA. It's the last time you'll have a true narrative-driven campaign in the original DoW games, because DC and SS have a more loose-set-of-missions-with-occasional-cutscenes instead of a campaign proper. Not to mention that it's pretty much considered a fun campaign with hilarious characters (to laugh with and to laugh at), even for as short as it is.

  21. Corsix Mod Studio is by far the easiest way. And contrary to what the other dude said, you absolutely can change individual unit values, obviously.

  22. Not without modding. They are exclusive by design. I will say that allowing both at once makes the Tau so awfully OP in a lot of scenarios, it is NOT fun to play against.

  23. Hypothetically if i were playing as them, what files would i need to modify?

  24. Both the Kauyon and Montka structures have a requirement table that "excludes" themselves from the other once built. This is in the structure entity file in the 'ebps' folder. Deleting the line in the table for both files means both can be built and both researches completed.

  25. So which does more DPS to infantry and vehicles? Daemon Prince feels easier, but that could be because the enemies in the last mission were weaker and you have every Space marine unit.

  26. It's a bit varied, would be easier to tell by testing in game, frankly. Some of the Squiggoth's AP values are definitely lower than the Prince (against commander armor it has a 3 value, i.e. a reduction of 97 percent to raw damage!) and the Daemon Sword has a "reload" of 1sec, vs the Squiggoth's 2 seconds (The Daemon sword is significantly more accurate as well). However the Squig probably wins out due to the sheer raw numbers of it's melee attack damage.

  27. Hmm, interesting. I wonder if Squiggoth kills vehicles and buildings faster than Daemon Prince. Can't test in-game because DAemon Prince is a campaign only unit. Does it have similar armor pierce values as the playable one in the expansions?

  28. It sounds like you'd have a fun time scouring this site, which helps me a lot for references when I'm modding. It is for Soulstorm, but most units are relatively unchanged in every title, with only some notable exceptions.

  29. Been a long, long time since I messed with modding for RA2. Do the structures not have a list of what can be built, of sorts?

  30. I don't think what you're describing has anything to do with being an INTJ. It sounds more to do with experience at the activity, like someone who is new to basketball not being good at it because they've never done something athletic before.
