  1. I’ve got nothing against state workers, but why shouldn’t they return? If you were hired after workers started working from home and signed your contract as a work from home employee I think you have a compelling argument that should be taken to your union. If you agreed to and accepted the job when driving to the office was expected I don’t see how you have any room to argue. You literally accepted the job with going to the office as a requirement. Seems pretty clear cut to me? My job requires on call, if things are slow and nobody gets called in when it picks up we don’t get to just say “yeah ya know what, we decided we don’t like on call anymore” and stop doing it. If we want to stop taking call we need to go to our union and have them deal with our job to try to come to an agreement. State employees have unions, they can do this.

  2. I've said it before, but Matt Gaetz looks like, and acts like tbh, Butthead (from Beavis and Butthead) grew up rich and politically connected.

  3. Looks like, not acts like. Butthead is a significantly better human than Gaetz.

  4. I read an article today about how we’re not as divided as it may seem, and while that undoubtedly true/social media amplifies the extremes, that’s also part of the problem, because it easy for people to underestimate the threat from Trump, et al.

  5. Malarkey. I wouldn’t stand by silently while watching the party I vote for turn into what the Republican Party has, not to mention continuing to vote for them, push their lies, and ignore the harm they’re causing. That’s exactly what American republicans have been doing for the last 10+ years.

  6. Hey, no argument here. And I’m not saying you should stand by. Far from it.

  7. Fair. I kinda went on a rant there, didn’t mean to accuse you of anything bad.

  8. I’ve done this to a kid but completely not in a serious way. It was pretty fun. I was at a 49er game years ago and there was a kid and his parents right in front of us in opposition gear. I could tell at the start of the game they were nervous about being outnumbered so we started chatting with them to make friends and starting joking banter to make it fun. As the game went on the kiddo would turn to us to talk trash in fun like every big play, and we’d do the same back, it was hilarious. The niners ended up losing but it was still a fun experience, making friends with that kid and his parents made an otherwise crappy loss a pretty fun day.

  9. So I’m not a country music fan, but for anyone who is familiar with that fanbase, why were they so supportive of him (with album sales, streams and concert tickets) after all of his past jackassery? Do they just not care in general, or do they not only accept it but actually want to reward it?

  10. I mean I hate bro country, but why do people defend Kanye and still support him? This is no different. Some is stupidity, some is ignorance, some agree with hateful statements, some are just obsessed fans. This isn’t exclusive to this genre, fans have been excusing shit behavior by artists for a long time. This is just one more in a long list of examples.

  11. “Arty shouldn’t be a problem for experienced tanker” -inexperienced tanker

  12. If it’s co-op it’s imo kinda better for people playing since you have one less person farming damage off bots. Some co-op games get to be a crazy race for who can dominate more. People can also farm challenges that way. It is kinda lame but since it’s co-op I don’t mind. Being MIA in multi player is lame tho and does hurt your team.

  13. When people post MOEs without the tank name and everyone starts calling it the wrong name. I remember back in the day someone would always say something like “TOG, great tank” no matter what tank it was. That one always cracks me up lol

  14. Red team is always all bots, your team will be a mix of players and bots depending on how busy matchmaking is.

  15. Joe rhymes with Colorado and Idaho

  16. I’ve never understood veggie sandwiches. I’d rather just have a salad, throw on some croutons if you really want some bread.

  17. I love all of you guys that aren't Nazis so the last thing I'll say on it is this post didn't prove that we're all sensitive libs. It proved that some of you have a very cartoonish and naive view of nazis. It's not blatant. Those people are posers. It's an organized attempt to change hearts and minds. All this post proved is that if you don't study history you're going to be complicit in the worst parts of it, unintentionally or not

  18. No this post proved nothing. It’s you complaining about a person you admit isn’t a bad person and made a mistake. It just shows people like you are either reactionary drama queens or karma whores stirring up shit for no reason.

  19. In my business we have a thing called the mirror concept. That's you right now. Go away kid

  20. Sure. Keep up the useless drama sweetheart

  21. Let me guess, you’re grinding an un-upgraded tier 8 and just turned on boosters/multipliers?

  22. Dude, anytime I take my un-upgraded tech tree 8s out with boosters on I swear I get horrible matchmaking lol

  23. To each their own but I only hit low tiers (below 5) if I’m starting a new line and I need to finish off low tier tanks or I’m annoyed and I need to vent so I hop in my SU76i and club seals to feel cool. Personally, mid tiers (5-7) tend to be my sweet spot in WW2, high tier (8-10) I enjoy but don’t play consistently enough to consistently do well, especially when we have taran/AVRE heavy waves. I feel like low tier is all seal clubbing or playing against/with try hard seal clubbers, personally, for that I’ll just play co-op.

  24. Based on average median income, Texans pay more than Californians. If you’re filthy rich this isn’t the case. There’s tons of articles on the topic if you choose to research it. I’ll just link the first searching Google came up with, feel free to research on your own.

  25. Well that link is paywall restricted and amp'd, but my research showed that blue cities fund entire red states and their poverty/lack of planning.

  26. I must have misunderstood because we’re talking about two different things. My link was saying Texans have a higher tax burden and pay a higher overall rate than Californians do which is a major misconception many people have.

  27. Can you imagine the backlash this sub would face if Swifties found out we claimed Taylor’s boyfriend’s team to be eeevil? Y’all are out of your damn minds! This sub would turn into the scene of a massacre. Taylor’s boyfriend’s team must remain “good” simply for our own safety so Swifties don’t track us all down and murder us. Even evil knows you don’t fuck with Swifties.

  29. QuickyBaby plays on PC, he’s a great YouTuber but not really the best for learning about console specifics, the games are pretty different nowadays. I watch both Petty360 and Eclipse-World of Tanks, they both play on console and put out good regular content, I’d recommend checking them out.

  30. Also he could live anywhere in the Bay Area, like so many pro athletes do. The east bay, north bay, peninsula… There’s something here for people of all tastes.

  31. Not even just the bay, it’s not unheard of for pro athletes to have homes in Placer County 2hrs away. Hell even celebrities are known to have homes in some of placer counties upscale gated communities. It’s where the 49ers used to have training camp, it’s not all packed tight high density, it has great schools, less crime, you can get a beautiful home for less than jacked up Bay Area equivalent, only 2hrs from the Bay and 2 from Tahoe, it’s also where Logan Webb is from and Placer County neighbors Sac County where the Rivercats play.

  32. Yamamoto isnt looking to live in fuckin granite bay of all places. If he wanted the suburb life he'd move to atherton or menlo park

  33. Lol no clue why pointing out SF athletes have other nice areas to live has people like you so upset? I’m not saying the bay is shit I’m saying this area has lots of attractive options.

  34. Everyone is dancing around it trying to sound cool but it’s rise in popularity is because it’s so hard to catch/detect.

  35. Reddit is also now doing the Facebook and using algorithms to force controversial posts into peoples feed. This gives a bigger platform and circulation to moronic dogshit content.

  36. Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard is like a non-douche bro version of Rogan. I’m not a huge fan but that’s more because I don’t really like the podcast format of just interviewing guests episode after episode. He does have some zingers tho.

  37. Soooo…why haven’t the boys cleared the air yet? Like officially. I know people are going to yell LEGAL STUFF but, is anyone actively suing. Is there real legal happenings going on, or plan to? I assume the main concern is Ben suing LPN. I understand them wanting to protect their company - but I feel like there is way to connect with the fans over feelings of loss of a friend and host.

  38. Im sorry but this sounds super entitled. You think the fans are hurt? Marcus and Henry where actual friends, creative and business partners with Ben. Try to respect and consider their privacy and right to keep their opinions and feelings to themselves. This show was never about their personal lives. I know if I was in Marcus/Henry’s shoes I’d very likely still be processing my feelings and emotions on the topic, probably with a therapist. The things I’d be feeling would absolutely not be proper for the public to hear. The guys are human, let’s give them some respect and treat them like it. Their lives and drama aren’t for our entertainment nor do they owe us any further explanation just to appease fan celebrity obsession. If you see them as friends, understanding they don’t want to talk about it should be enough.

  39. Bushes and downed trees give camo bonuses regardless if using greenthumb. The thing that most players don't realize, and even good players occasionally don't take Into account during the heat of the moment, Is that every time you shoot it temporarily displaces foliage within 6m. This is why the best foliage are the double and triple bushes as you can usually hide just Slightly far enough behind that st least one of them are unaffected by your shot dispersment. Yet the question you are inquiring about is only a linear example of a newer player trying to better understand the game mechanics. Basically, it's one of those you don't know what ya don't know situations. A more non-linear approach to this strategy is to instead use bushes close to the enemy. Whereas a bush close to you will disperse when you fire, a bush close to your enemy will not. So if you fire upon an enemy with a bush in the way that is closer to the enemy than you... You'll remain undetected. Even if you're out in the open.

  40. WoT’s sister game World of Warships shows you how far away you can be spotted with a big bubble around you on the mini-map, when you fire you can see how much this area expands accordingly. I think this feature would be really cool in WoT.
