Funny thing about all of this. There are now many many more household investors walking around with the equivalent of full college programs in finance and macro-economics in their head. There are also now household investors who when this started had a decent grasp of these subjects. At this point many could hold their own in a discussion of international monetary policies with the actual policy makers.
I love how competently this community rose to the challenge of getting learnt. I know the first time I tried reading a balance sheet or a financial report I was overwhelmed, but slowly but surely and with help from many silverback wrinkle brains, I've got more learned.
