Unfortunately, roleplaying is always limited in a video game by dialogue options and quest decisions. Especially as a Dalish Elf you should be able to add a lot to conversations about Dalish culture, the Evanuris or Arlathan and the lost Dales, but the game just doesn't provide us with such options. There's overall not much unique stuff depending on race or class. So it's not your fault that you get this feeling of incoherence.

In the second scenario, it’s only over because people get offended at people thinking they’re not perfect. If I gave my partner understandable reason (doesn’t mean I’m cheating, it’s just giving a reason) to be concerned, why should I be offended, if the reason was justified?
For 2 reasons : Because no matter what you still invaded my privacy here. 2 wrongs don't cancel each other. I can be a cheater and you can still betray my trust and it won't matter what I've done.
Try adding the reason behind the request. I've found that many would be more willing to cooperate when they told the reason for a request. I guess it has a direct effect on the quality of the treatment if the client has any of these conditions, maybe explain it shortly to encourage cooperation?

People tend to act differently around their significant others than around any other person. It is possible that he acted, intentionally or not,differently around her, and only after some time he allowed his true personality to emerge
I couldn't agree more. Bethesda is the king of underutilized potential and poor execution of insanely cool concepts. On the whole I still think the factions in FO4 are pretty cool, but with some better writers they could be SO much more.
I absolutely see what you mean but I'm a bit conflicted on that end. On one hand it's annoying that you can't finish a factions story without pursuing the main quest, but on the other I actually kind of like the idea of having to choose a faction to end the game with.
You could've done something like the civil war situation in Skyrim. If you completed the quest line on your own before doing main Quest you'll skip an entire chunk of of the quests. If not, you'll be forced and or nudged to partake. Either you postpone the war for a while and now have a good reason to do that quest, or you are rewarded by skipping a part of the game.

It explains wonderfully what this whole mini game is about, which is super cool! watch I'll do a much worse explanation and highly recommend checking the video, but in a gist, in the real life field of human genom research there are couple millions of unique combination that being run by a computer to map different stuff. The computer makes mistakes and not always has the most efficient solution or something of the sort, so the devs team partnered with some institution and developed a mini game that essentially gamifying the computer solutions. As you solve these and get higher score, this data is transmitted to the research institute and they able to correct mistakes and boost efficiency of these unique combinations.

I've beaten it 5 times and he's never died on me that's strange maybe I'm not doing enough of his quest but I have everything lol
You need to finish Blaidds quest, after that talking with iji and reloading should show him as dead body.
